When I launch DayZ Standalone it crashes with a black screen then says corrupted data in a window. I don't know what to do plz help!

I can't download DayZ because every time I try to download a message pops up saying "An error has occurred (connection timed out)" even though I have a good enough connection to download any other game. So if anyone has any ways to fix it plz help!!! Thanks.

Hey guys thanks for the help but it started randomly downloading and actually worked. So thanks for the help but now i have another problem it says Corrupted Data Detected in a window so now I've made a new topic so plz check it out. Thanks

Turns out it's with very game that I have to update.

My region was on US - Denver

We'll yes many times but I also went steam support and followed instructions with a problem similar to this but it didn't work.

I've been wanting to play Dayz Standalone so bad, but my dad won't let me download it because he thinks it's going to take to much out of our bandwidth. So I need to know how much it's going to take out of our bandwidth so I can download the game. So please help me. PS: My bandwidth is 40 gigs.
