    But... I need that all that shit! I'd say 80% of my invt is flickering. Also, I've had dramatically different experiences from server to server. On some I can play for a half hour or so, on others I'm frozen within a few minutes.
  3. I went really well for a bit. Explored part of a town, ran up a hill, and it started freezing for a few seconds at a time about every 15 seconds or so, and the duration of the freezing seemed to start getting longer. So I found a bush and logged.

  5. I don't want to be too spamfull (sorry mods), but this is being discussed on several threads, and I'm anxious to see if it helps anyone else. I have 8G ram and I had issues similar to what's going on now when I tried to use -maxMem=8192 in my start string prior to these patches, but as of 0.33.114926 I was able to use 8192. Previously I had to set it to -maxMem=4096 or I'd get a similar experience to what I am now. So I tried setting it back to 4096 in the start string and I'm back to decent performance. Might be worth trying if you've altered your start string.

    I was running smooth as of this .34, however with 0.34.115106, like some other people my performance was steadily reduced to the point of crashing within a couple of minutes.     M4 Accuracy

    M4 using MP hand-guard and stock, bipod deployed, using T3N RDS Optics (Worn) zero'd to 400, laying prone. I'm not certain of the range, but this is an estimate of positions based on a map with power-lines overlaid, positioned on the highres map using the small road as a reference: I'm the blue dot, he's the red dot. Left the town in to provide a little distance scale. I've been keeping an eye on the roads leading into the town for an opportunity to do this, I almost missed him. At max zoom I spot him stumbling towards the dirt road on right : Red dot centre mass (lowered to get a good look at him for the screen shot), and missed the first shot. Waited about 5 seconds, remembered to hold my breath this time, absolutely essential. Red dot centre mass, dropped him with the second shot. No more zombie. I realize it ain't exactly fraps, but it's simply to demonstrate accuracy at what is arguable as fair distance.

    For me I was fine until the hotpatch today. Now it's literally unplayable within 3-5 minutes of spawning. I applied the tweaks prior to the patch, and locked the files as suggested, so I'm curious if that's what's causing it?

    same, I even lowered everything to as low as possible, and after about 5 min I still lock up completely.
  12. Yeah, I reset all my video settings, reapplied all the suggested fps tweaks, set everything to off, or low, and within around 5 min everything slows right down to the point I literally can't move. I was trying to move from an open field to a grove of trees.

    Naw, I take it back. I logged in again after posting above, and for some reason without the rain I'm back to really choppy preformance. Strange. As well all textures seem to take much longer to load for me. I was waiting for around 45 seconds for the grey box to be replaced with a red dot.

    I just got rained on? It was rather pleasant. Somehow vsync got turned back on for me, so I redid all my video settings including all the suggested fps tweaks, and everything seems back to normal fps wise for me. The rain didn't seem to have much of an effect.

    A couple of new finds.

    Took a run around Zelenogorsk this morning - It's was pretty quiet, so I decided to have a look around for some of the new additions. New box of rounds for the SKS in the guardhouse. ZSh3 Pilots Helmet in the barracks! I wore it till I found some paint and set it aside upon finding one may not paint it black. It looks like a pretty cool alternative to the Military lid tho. Ten round clip for the SKS. Anyone need a motorcycle helmet? Happy Hunting.

    I don't think so. Overfilling with food/drink, and poisoning I assume? Re:"Kept Starving and vomiting" I just asked a bunch of questions about statues a couple days ago, and a guy went through the same thing - "With the new patch, eat until energized and hydrated, and avoid "stuffed," otherwise you'll be spewing, stuffed, and starving at the same time.     my guess is you stuffed yourself on water and need food. You'll get an "Energized" status once you've eaten enough. "Hydrated" once you've consumed enough water/pop.

    Healthy Status!

    This seemed to happen pretty quickly. I had been running around with this character for a few days and I know I've taken damage from a couple of zombies at some point, but otherwise he's been healthy. I hadn't eaten in around 10 min or so, other than to get rid of the hungry message, and I just came across a well in Krasnostav. So I stuffed myself on the well water right off the bat, and immediately ate a couple cans of spaghetti to make room for more food, should I come across it. The server had restarted about ten minutes prior, so I decided to head up to the NE airfield to try my luck in the hangers (still searching for that elusive MP hand guard). Checking players I noticed a few people hop on and back off again, there had been 3 or 4 people on for awhile before the restart, but there were all gone now, so it was down to me and whoever happened to hop on. I was pretty confident I wasn't going to see anyone, and I'd taken out most of the zombies around the town. I wish I had this part on fraps... As I was running up the road I noticed the first guardhouse door was already open, and kinda expected it was one of the users that came and went earlier, and now there's only one other guy on. I head straight over towards the tower along the fence line and notice the second guardhouse doors hadn't been opened yet! I quickly try to get out of view of the tower behind the rear of the hanger hoping I hadn't been seen, thinking maybe I just wasn't close enough to see the open doors. Just as I'm about to double check this door situation, I see a head pop-up in the tower. I had my ACOG equiped which I wasn't entirely comfortable with yet, and I kinda wanted to investigate a little further before just off'in the guy, so I just kept an eye on him as he did his rounds, circling the tower, up the ladder, check the roof, down the rear ladder. Watched him go into the second guard house, still complete unaware of me. He comes out, and I'm pretty much in the open at this point around 10 ft to the right of the sheds between the tower and the guardhouse, waiting to run behind them. Had he turned right, he'd be staring right at me. He turns left and heads off towards the rear of the building and the runway. I decide if he keeps going, I'll just leave him be. I prefer not to kill without evaluating someone as a threat. I run up to the corner of the guard house building and he's standing still in the open next to the runway about 10 m away facing the hill, I notice I've dragged a zombie who's stumbling quietly along behind me. Somehow without him noticing either of us, I turn around and drag it back towards the sheds, come around their courtyard towards the runway, turn right, and he still blissfully sunning him self next to the runway. At this point I'm not sure where the zombie is while running along the runway towards him, and decide to start minimizing threats, I fire a couple rounds at stationary guy. And turn to check on my zombie tail, and turn back, he's gone, no corpse, nothing. Sorry bud! Check your six more often than never. Anyhow, back to the point of the story. My brief excursion couldn't have taken more than 15 min. After a quick run through the hangars I headed back into town to have a look for some more food. I found a can of beans inside the piano house, and after the second bite I notice I'm 'healing'! I finish off the can, and I'm 'Healing', and 'Stuffed.' Maybe five, ten minutes later - Physically, anyhow. =P
