I tend to stick to low population servers since loot doesn't respawn. The last time i tried spawning on a full server i starved to death before i found any food. Another reason I tend to play on low pop servers is because i play with 4 other people and it's hard enough trying to find and get to them before they kill themselves. Add 30 other players trying to KoS them and all my playtime invovles running back and forth between solnich and electro. I'm looking forward to more persistant servers and base building in the future, these will really make me want to play on higher population servers.

It would be nice to get higher than 20-30 fps in the middle of nowhere with everything maxxed when I play much better looking games at a constant vsynced 60. The last time my fps was that low I was playing GW2 with 100 people around spamming full particle effects on max settings. With everything turned down i can get a consistant 60-90+ fps. Add to this that designers keep making games like this that give advantages to players that keep their settings low. It's just like the old Darkfall where the shadow effects were great but if you were playing with them on you were just begging to be killed. There needs to be a set minimum on foliage and grass that you can't reduce. You can make it look like crap but it needs to be there, the same with the shadows. It might prevent some people from playing the game, but those people probably wouldn't have a very good time playing it on the lowest settings anyway. I played for a couple weeks with max settings and it was alright, but after running at 60 fps there's no way i can go back to 20. I'm tired of the game looking like a soiled tissue when i run just so i can play smoothly. It's crap because the game does look really cool with the settings turned up. Hopefully they will optimize things but from what i've gathered since i bought the SA this is an arma engine problem and most likely not one that will be easlily remedied.
Random, but tbh you should be getting up after only a few seconds of being knocked out. If you spend more than a few seconds unconcious you risk the possiblity of brain damage and simply not regaining conciousness.
Well at least I won't have to put my fists down to walk faster up a 5 degree incline anymore... woot. It also led to you pulling out weapons in the "ready" stance, which got annoying with certain melee weapons such as the axe. The aiming is so wonky with the axes held up to your face that you have to take more time just to put it down that a zombie can get a hit or two in if you forget about it.
God I hope so. Just tried the experimental server and died of starvation after 10 minutes of running through already looted houses. With all of the logging restrictions they better adjust that issue. If you try to play on a server that doesn't restart every couple hours you're going to die before you find any loot.

This is a real pain. I don't even bother going into any one story houses other than the red brick tavern and the yellow with blue trim food house. They need to address this and loot respawns before discouraging server hopping and making it to where you starve to death 10-15 mins after spawning as in the experimental version due to release in a couple days. If you're playing on a server that doesnt restart every couple hours you will die before you find anything to eat.
