Definitely check this server out, guys. Well worth it. Every server is going to have its KoS people, but push through it. Great community, awesome Staff, and tons of things to do. My brother, friend and I have been on the server for a few days, and can't get enough. Already started building a base, and met up with a few people that we've since then teamed up with and are working together. Our group personally isn't made of Bandits or KoS players, but even the bandits are helpful.. most of the time. If you decide to try the server out, and have any questions.. feel free to ask! Awesome. Happy to hear it. If all goes well, I'll end up having a few more people to bring over with me, based on my opinion. Just a quick question, though.. the IP information in your signature is the correct information for the server advertised in this thread, correct? I remember reading a completely different IP earlier in this topic. Just want to make sure.

Will be checking his server out later on tonight. Likely with my brother. We've been looking for a DayZ Mod server to call home for a while now, and have recently been settling for playing on Overwatch servers. If this server is anywhere near half as good as people have said it is, then we'll be making this server our home. Looking forward to seeing some people tonight.

Love this server list. One problem, though. I registered for an account on the website, and it told me a confirmation email would be sent within the next few minutes.. and if not, to check my Spam Folder. It's been nearly 30, and nothing in any folder.

What's the viewpoint on Killing on Sight? I really want to join a server to play at, on a regular basis, with more than 5 people, and not be genuinely scared of getting killed as soon as I come in contact with someone. I hate Killing on Sight -- but understand that it's a large factor of this game -- and want to join a server where I can actually experience playing with other people, instead of getting shot immediately. Now, legit PvP is perfectly fine. If that's how I die, then well played.. the person who killed me pulled that trigger just a bit faster than me. But if I'm getting shot from behind, simply because someone came from over the hill, sees me, and immediately shoots? That's just fucked.

What's your theory on Killing on Sight? Personally, I despise it and try to avoid servers the run rampant with it. Would definitely like to check this out, though.

If this server is as good as people are saying it is, and the Staff follows through on what they say they intend to do.. then I may have found a new home server to game on for roleplay and survival needs. Now, I will say that I am part of a multigaming clan, and I have no intentions of relinquishing my position in that clan. But I also have no objections at all to separating my character in to two different versions -- one that is a roleplay character for this server. The other as myself on my Clan server. If this is something that the admins will allow, then I'd definitely be interesting in running on this server. I'd have to get used to playing in First Person Only, as I typically switch between the two view modes on a regular basis.. but I truly believe that I'd have fun, providing I am can do what is outlined above. Just for those who don't feel that separating persona's for multiple different servers and playstyles with the same character is possible, I feel I should let you know that I partake in LARP (Live Action Role Play) that focuses on the Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf: The Apocalypse Genre's. I'm part of 7 different Chronicles -- 4 Vampire, and 3 Werewolf. Different characters in each, which I never allow to cross in to another character that I play. I've been roleplaying for at least 15 years, so I've picked up a few tricks to remove the temptations to "metagame" - (bringing In Character Information obtained either Out of Character, or on another character, to a separate character without them having been exposed to it).
