Has DayZ ever gotten you in real world trouble?

My first hardcore charater was alive for about two months with a lot of hours played, good amount of kills and many close calls. I had grown very attached to him needless to say. One happy afternoon I was playing and talking to my fiancee at the same time. Happened to look over at her and say something while I was running north of eleckto, when I looked back to the monitor there was a dirty gasmasker pointing an M4 at me. Tried to swing Matilda up and get a shot, but I got lite up. My reaction was alittle unpleasant and I sort of blamed her... a bit. Yeah, no snuggles or loving that night. -
Made me lol

Besides a few sad and lonely pervs, noone has ever really griefed my girl. Usually they stop trying to punch/shoot/troll when she speaks over comms and end up offering her assistance. Just know 80% of people playing this game are dicks, and the other 20% are half the time.

I have a sickness for the Amphibia S, if i can ever find mags for it. Sounds cool and you can fire it off as fast as you can click with little recoil.

Meh, you did nothing wrong. Hindsight is always 20/20. First time this happened to me in the mod I panicked and shot my own bugged corpse thinking someone had been following me when I logged out to fix a bug. Took me a few minutes to piece it together, and that was alone in the woods. Not with a random dude and a friend adding to the situation. And anyone flaming you would loot their corpse too.

I think you all are missing the point of this thread. Bambi up, serpentine,rock/tree hop, stealth your way in and take him out. He wants you to get his gear, survival of the fittest, thinning out the bambi heard. Thank you for making better bambis sir. -

Is it racist towards rednecks that I talk like Joe Dirt when I approach people? Not sure why, maybe its because rednecks would be very useful, or very scary in the zombie apocalypse

I rarely pick up the M4. And if I do, its to hold onto it for my girlfriend (she isn't the best with the weapon systems in game, so a spray cannon is her best bet) Mosin with both scopes and a shotgun is all I ever carry. Longer range, 1-2 shots, and the crack of the bullet riping off make it the more intimadating/superior weapon. Phew phew.

.3. People sliding across the floor as if they are laying down but are actually running. Just got this one this afternoon, on my girlfriends screen I was halfway in the floor with my arms stuck out. And on my screen she was "hugging the ground", skating across the floor like a sad superwoman.
