Never get attached to your gear. Especially when you have a big ass red disclaimer every time you start the game stating that it's an alpha. FYI I have an almost 3 month old character on a private hive with full ghillie sniper setup and lost everything for my AKS-74u as well as my Mosin. And I'm just sitting here hoping I will get those back, not flaming on the forums ;)

Is stuff on private shard severs going to be recovered as well? I lost all attachments there too... :(

I've been playing DayZ that way since release and just want to throw some unique experience from time to time. You're telling me you've never had a craving to have a "themed" dayz run (with friends or while lone wolfing)? If not, you're missing out dude. No need to get butthurt like crazy.

Hey there! We've got plenty sources to get information about in-game items. My question is whether any of those base on the actual loot tables? :huh: Let me explain... After my "find the suppressor east" adventures I started to think something may not be right. I've never had a proper DayZ run with a silenced AK so I thought it would be a good idea to get one. I've collected everything except the suppressor. It's weird cause I've even found two PSO-1's... I know those used to spawn in teddy bears underneath the christmass trees as of 0.52 build. Right now the wiki page says it spawns in "General military" but running around the map looting barracks and other buildings listed in "General military" brought nothing. In the Chernarus+ map on dayzdb.com, on the other hand, the suppressor is not even in the loot tables. On the other hand, while trying to find the answer on various DayZ forums I've come across people saying that those "probably" spawn only on heli crash sites (but no one could confirm...). So here comes the question again, which source to believe? I always presumed they are somewhat right but now I'm starting to doubt that. :(

After the hotfix I'm getting character resets on every relog... Just as the character did not save when leaving the server. Every time I join a new one it's without anything and on the coast.

As some people stated previously, I'm also getting EXTREME lags in EVERY server. I cannot open doors for more that 1-2 minutes and it always ends with "You are dead" because someone kills me when I'm not able to do anything. It's unplayabruu right now :(

Okay, I wanna do a little update on my previous post. I was playing at 25-30 fps stable and all of a sudden fps dropped to below 10. Second after that it started raining. 2 or 3 minutes later the rain stopped and 5 second after that my fps came back to 25-30. So yeah, in my case it's probably the new weather that causes the fps drops.

I start with decent FPS and then (after about 5-10 minutes of playing) it drops to like 3-5 frames per second or even below (literally, sometimes the game freezes). It's happening to me and all my friends after this update. It's unplayabruuu right now :(

You're right - there is an issue with spraying mosin but it doesn't involve disappearing. Once you spray paint the mosin, it changes to a different one - painted - which you can find on the ground. But you probably did it INDOORS and that causes a glitch where painted mosin spawns on the roof (or is floating in the air next to the building). That has happened to me. So your mosin didn't actually disappear... If it's on the roof - you're basically screwed... :( BUT...! If it's floating in mid-air (as it was in my case), you can walk underneath it and it will show in your vicinity! ^_^
