Meh, it's alpha. I am more concerned with persistent storage, proper zombies with their new AI, vehicles, etc being implemented first. It it disappointing that I get FPS drops on a GTX780? Yes. Enough to make me want to stop playing? No. I get it though, it definitely sucks, but they (the Dev team) have to pick & choose what they want to devote their time & efforts into. So if they wanted to fix performance, that means they lose people and time from another area. -
I've found all of mine in barracks, I'm convinced they don't spawn anywhere else, heh.

I haven't used the M4 a whole ton but I definitely prefer the AKM. PSO1 scope is nice for scouting things out ahead when you need to & don't have bino's or Mosin/LRS. Plus, now that M4 only spawn at heli's, ammo is a lot harder to come by.

I think it all depends on the streamer. if they're a nice person, not griefing people & generally entertaining, they should be left alone. However, I have stream sniped once, it was yesterday actually, & that was because the guy has his twich name as his in-game name. So I checked him out & noticed he was rolling with a crew & being a dick bandit to basically anyone they came across, so me & a few friends took them out. I think it was justified but others may not agree.

Havne't found any in .46 on EXP yet, but in .45 stable I have found two. One in the barracks of the military base to the South East of NWAF. The other I found in the barracks of military base at the south of Zelenogorsk. Attachments seem to be EVERYWHERE. I've ended up with all pristine attachments & multiple mags before finding the gun.

It's all luck of the draw man, although I will say that it looks like the amount in the world is far less than it was in experimental, which is a good thing. I made multiple trips to NWAF, Balota & Police stations along the way & never saw a single one in 5+ hours of play. Unlucky.

Yup, same here. I've died twice to being one shot by zombies & both times I was wearing a pristine helmet (ballsitics one time & a motorcycle one the other). It's cool that they are somewhat dangerous but annoying when you get one shot.

I don't use the splitting axe, but with the fireaxe it's 1 hit kill to any part of the zed. If I have time, I aim for the head, but many times I've hit torso & it still kills them in one shot. That being said, EXP zombies seem to hit harder than the stable ones. I have bled WAY more times on EXP than I ever did on stable & a few times I've had pristine vests ruined in 1 or 2 shots.

It's been said a million times by Dean & co., sounds are one of the last things they will be working on, once they get all the MAJOR stuff implemented & working properly. Is this annoying? Yes. Does it make sense to do it like this? Yes.

Well you chop down trees for firewood & small bushes for kindling (although you can chop the firewood down into kindling). The ashwood sticks you get from only specific trees & they are used for either the Ashwood Bow or the Fishing Rod. So yes, it's very useful to have an axe on you in the new patch.

With the current stable build? I'd agree that fists seem to be the best way. However, the current EXP patch that is about to get pushed to Stable, axes are once again king. You can 1 shot zeds with a fireaxe & 2 shot with the splitting axe.

How the mods remain so civil is beyond me. Way too many entitled and/or lazy people post here. Can't even bother to read about what's going on and immediately jump to ZOMG THE FEATUERS ARE GONE WUT DA FLUX>?!

If that's how you feel, why bother playing or posting? EXP being pushed to stable will give people a lot more to do, even if only for a little while, at least it's SOMETHING new & enjoyable, for now. -
Mosin all day. I prefer to play a sniper style & usually hang back & scope things out while my buddies clear an area. Or if I'm lone wolf, I'd rather scout first & then go in. If we're talking experimental though, AKM all day, it seems to OP right now. Better than the M4 in every way & has a 75 round drum mag, just silly. Also, carrying two weapons is slow as hell in stable but it's actually not that bad at all on EXP. I will be rocking two mains once EXP hits stable.

Light shining through walls was a limitation of the current DX9 renderer they are using, I believe. By switching to a new one, which can use DX10/11, the issue will be resolved. So his statement was true, because the current engine is incapable of fixing it. Hence why they are changing the renderer, along with multiple other things, & putting it all together in this "new" engine they call Infusion.

You took this way too far, get a grip man. I agree that they could do a much better job of commmunicating this stuff on their OFFICIAL forums, but the fact of the matter is, there's TONS of information out there if people look. If you can play this game, post on the internet, I think you can figure out google and/or reddit. Everyones entitled to their opinion but at least try to be somewhat informed before you give it. If the amount of time spent raging or whatever else the uninformed do here, was spent on actually READING the info available, I feel this would be a much better forumk with way less bitching. There is a reason BI & Dean have pulled back on release dates, road map promises, etc & it's because of how the community at large reacts to anything & everything they say & most of the time, it's because they either didn't bother to read or didn't comprehend what he was saying. This topic is the perfect example.

The amount of people who couldn't comprehend this information is astounding. "ZOMG NEW ENGINE WTF DEAN!" I swear most of the people bitching are the ones who pay the least amount of attention to Twitter, Reddit, etc & just complain for the sake of seeing their name attached to a post on the internet.

The Mosin; Camo or Black? Also, Outfits!

Almost always go with a black Mosin, don't like the camo too much & the green looks terrible. As for outfits, I usually stick to 2 basic ones. Black tac shirt/cargo pants/vest/gloves/combat boots/aviators & the black red star beret/black army helmet -or- olive tac shirt/green cargo pants/olive vest/black gloves+boots/aviators & green army helmet. -
How to locate where people are shooting?

Sound needs an overhaul badly but it's a long way from happening. It'll be nice when you can actually pinpoint the direction. Also, having gunshots go off but only some hear & some don't is incredibly frustrating. -
Sawed-off IZH-43 disappearing out of Hunter backpack

I've had this issue multiple times but NOT just with the sawed off. I've had a sawed off shotgun, protector case, ammo box & two pistols all disappear from my inventory. I have no idea why the game decides it's going to re-organize your inventory for you, but it's annoying. The biggest issue I've noticed so far is when carrying a fishing pole in the backup. Since it takes up a full 6 slots, veritcally, you really have to be careful what you place in the bag. I've noticed if I have the rod & mostly things that take up 4 slots (2x2) it's not an issue. However, if I have something like the shotty or 1 slot & 2x2 slot items, it will make some of them disappear. I've learned to start moving things around myself to avoid the issue. -
Zombies are too hard (defending my opinion)

Nope, Zombie. My buddy was to the south of me, on the coast, keeping on eye on the AF as well. He saw me get hit the second time & the zombie standing over top of me. It was weird cause we both went through the town of Balota, killed any zombies we did see & then scouted the AF. Neither of us saw or heard the zombie until it hit me. Again, zombies are easy & I don't mind but "stealthy" zombie kills are frustrating when they should be making noises.
