I have a few problems and questions about the launcher. I am a total noob with this kind of things so please mind that while replying. The first problem I have is verifying ARMA2. It just says verifying unknown file, can anyone help me with that? OA was verified successfully, but ARMA2 just wont verify. Exactly what I would like to see and even a greater focus on melee weapons. For now 90% of melee weapons are useless. If we are up against infected people and not the living dead then it should not take 15 stab wounds to kill them. Even the batons should slow the zombies down at least, in other words you should be able to break their legs with one or two hits to that area. Then they can easilly up the number of zed's.

But you can't look like a British SAS commando looting only firehouses, this is why people cry when the devs remove military spawn locations.

If you chop off a limb or shoot someone 5 times, drugs or no drugs, the guy wont be moving after 2 minutes and is definetly dead after 5 minutes if he doesn't try to stop the bleeding (and infected wont do that). So you can't expect to see infected without limbs if they lost them after they've become infected. You need blood to supply your muscles with oxygen, no drug will make you walk without blood in your system, except you are a living dead zombie and DayZ has no living dead zombies.

Yes you can survive those injuries if you receive propper treatment. Since they are infected who is going to treat them after they lose a limb? Nobody, they just bleed out. Bruises, shallow cuts and wounds, broken legs and arms are ok, but missing limbs or holes in the chest are just not going to work out.... Yes...awesome. Chernarus is like 20 times smaller then San Antonio and New York and has 100 times lower population (yes I am talking out of my head, but you get the point) per square kilometer, let's compare them with each other and wonder why there are no 3 military bases. There should be only 1 major military base on the island around Pavlovo and some barracks around NWAF with police and military roadblocks starting from Chapaevsk, Nadezdhino, Vyshnoye, Gorka, Gvozdno and Severograd. Spawns should be on the east side of the island and Elektro, but not in Chernogorsk. That way you get the feel of an apocalypse. The infection started and people from the east and major cities like Cherno or Elektro were going towards the military base and airfields for protection and evacuation. The NEAF and Balota airfields were overrun and the military and police responded too late so they set up roadblocks to protect the last airfield and military base. So basically you would have civilian and police grade weapons on the east and close to spawn points with military loot around the only military base and airfield. Military weapons should be a reward for the risk and time put into traveling from one side of the island to the other. If you really just want to deathmach all day you can do it with shotguns and pistols around Elektor and Cherno all day long.

Well then, maybe you are the problem, not other players. Have you been sprinting at them yelling friendly, friendly, friendly? :D EDIT: Had to add something here... This game is about player interaction, but to make things interesting we have guns. So the main goal is to grow a pair and actually try to talk to other instead of sniping them or attacking without saying a single word. Is it risky? Hell yeah! Is there any fun without risk? Hell no! The problem is the mentality of FPS games. If I die or don't kill more of them I lose. The funny thing is there is no goal and no score in this game, the experience is the goal. You can have your shalow spawn/hop to gear up asap/find and kill experience all day long, but please don't try to make us believe it's the only thing you can do in this game.

I don't give a darn about berries, what I did expect is some interesting content. Shooting people with absolute no story to it is booooring. Actually I would rather watch someone picking berries with some interesting comment's for 30 minutes rather than this.... :| I am not mad because you don't like picking berries, I am just mad because I actually watched the whole video hoping for some twist and thereby lost 4 minutes of my life...

Well excuse me, but all he recorded from release is shooting people...or well, trying to shoot people....?? You are probably right about the music, but I still can't see why criticising it makes me an arse... :lol:

That's unfortunate. I don't mind the storage, but being forced too look all over the map for supplies instead of looting the east 3 times over every 2-4 hours like most of the people do, would be awesome. -
