Ever since the Gamespy shutdown, I haven't been able to join a DayZ Epoch server. I've gone through all the steps of uninstalling and reinstating. I've also added all the necessary expansions. Any help anyone can give would be appreciated.

This is happening to me on pretty much every server. Are you saying this will be addressed in a new patch coming out soon? How soon? Today?

We're having the same issue with my girlfriend's computer. We've been playing fine for months, now all of a sudden tonight DayZ commander says Arma 2 is not found (out of date), When we try to update it says we have a newer version. We tried everything.

How long do you think games stay in alpha? You guys will be repeating this nonsense another 2 years from now. The fact is, you're better off spending 24.99 on combined operations and playing the mod. DayZ Epoch is light years ahead of the stand alone.

If you play the mod, go with Epoch. Like everyone has said, it's a blast.

This has happened several times now. I play all weekend and build up my character. Join a couple days later and my character resets. Whats going on?

My brother recently purchased and installed DayZ on my extra computer, but now my girlfriend wants her own copy on the same computer. Is that possible?

Yes, we have 2 steam accounts. We've had problems with Arma 2 and the mod, so wasn't sure if the same problems existed with SA.
