maybe a zombie punching you in the shoulder or vaulting over a bodybag shouldnt be able to break your legs. or skipping 2 steps on a staircase the list goes on. -
but there is a problem. many people keep respawning to get a better spawn location. you might say that it might lead to more pvp wars in the big coast cities but believe me, people respawning for a good spawn location are already doing it so this addition wouldnt change much. then why do i support it? every time you respawn, you make a new character in the database. plus, its taxing on the server to respawn you. therefore, having the ability to choose a rough area of where to spawn will help with server performance and helps to contain bandits around their usual target cities.

[/quote'] we already have a virus to avoid, the cold virus. its effects are dare i say worse than in real life. furthermore, from the looks of the atmosphere of the mod i would say the zombie apocalypse has gone on long enough that if those survived could get infected, they would already be (im hinting towards them being immune to the virus a la l4d)

morphine should be instant, first aid should be in scroll menu. its FIRST AID for gods sake, you would keep it in a pocket you can reach asap when need arises. -
flawed logic, you do panic in real life when your precious gear is in danger and perhaps on that exact moment the panic script just wont trigger. therefore, you should only panic IRL.

i must admit although a retarded idea, there are still far worse out there. not that im supporting this one. it is completely unrealistic and removes the need to hide your stash.

i definitely agree that a character's mental state should be in sync with the player's. forcing a character to panic when he has a SAW and is barricaded in a bunker mowing down zombies makes no sense. however, as i said mental state should not be forced upon a character. therefore, stress is also a bad idea.

forcing people to have a need to socialize/feel shocked when horrible shit happens is against all this mod stands for. perhaps stuff should be done with the actions on the coast but your suggestion is just utterly dumb for this mod. if i want to be a lonely lunatic i will be, i know i wont socialize and i will be okay with it. similarily, forcing someone to go to shock when someone dies is forcing someone to give a fuck about them but they might not care at all in real life.

this thread is based solely on the thought that survivors are playing the game like it should be and bandits are the bad people and they shouldnt exist and therefore, it should be discouraged with retarded shit like this. no, sandbox means all kinds of play styles are welcome.

youre implying this is a coop gamemode, its not. its a ffa gamemode. whether you cooperate or not is your free choice.
