Well maybe the berets inject nanobots into people to give the effects, and the beret that was supposed to give enhanced regeneration actually started the zombie plague! It was all a secret project started by DARPA to create super soldiers.....now we just need to find the secret DARPA installation and activate the Metal Gea.......um, Super DARPA Bot and use it to help cleanse the area of the zombie plague.

This......holy shit this! Would love to see this with higher population areas swarmed with walkers and a roaming mass that respawns a walker every 20 seconds and has no less than 30 walkers to start with. Have it aimlessly wander the map looking for tasty survivors.

I think it really adds to the immersion, I can already see people stepping over the border to the safe zone and talking in direct "Now you can hit me" step back in "Now you can't".

The idea sounds really good in theory, but I think it would fall flat in practice. As it has been stated a few times hand and arm signals are as SOP with a few exceptions (Halt and freeze are pretty much universal as are hand signals for communicating with a HELO) the issue I see is that they are going to just throw in a ton of hand signals that will need to be bound one way or another with a semi significant meaning and the usefulness will be negated. If you have a tight knit group of friends you play with and establish an SOP for what means what you are probably using an out of game VOIP program such as Skype or Teamspeak. If you are using them to communicate with a random friendly you just ran into that person might have a meaning assigned to a hand gesture that differs from what you intend it to mean, yet again negating the usefulness. I love the idea in theory, but I would prefer developers use time on more pressing issues. Just my 2 cents.
