Was playing and lost connection all the sudden. Went and refreshed servers but only testing servers up. Like post above it may be some patch.

With rocket's departure at the end of the year, his interview about the fundamental flaw of this game and how how the game is progressing I am afraid dayz won't live up to the hype. I mean look how Bohemia addresses tech issues. They don't even know how to stop zombies from clipping into walls. The 1st person view gun mechanics suck ass and they still haven't figured out how to turn off the mouse acceleration. Instead of getting a team of hunting programmers how about fixing the basics. I don't care if my flame for cooking is redder or more blue; just fix the most pressing issues! since they got their money i think they are going to half ass it. A case in point, dayz zombies clip through walls and cant climb stairs. In State of decay they can jump through windows and other smart ai moves. And it's a $10 game!

I understand where you are coming from and I was wondering about what Dean hall meant about that flaw but getting geared up doesn't take that long if you know where to look. The game is sloooow but it's kinda like minecraft with guns and zombies IMO. And you can run into a whole bunch of people in a good server near the spawn points. Many dont have weapons so easier to approrach.

I like the rain but it is too frequent and too loud imo. But flgreat addition

I looked this up and couldn't find an answer so i'm making this post. If this was discussed before I apologize. Is it a bug or is it just me that I can't crouch with my fists up? I can lay down though from standing. Will the player movements be limited to FPS shooter mechanics or will 3rd person view maneuvers, like in Gears of war, ghost recon, last of us, etc. be implemented? Moved such as sticking to walls and cover and shooting from cover. Thanks.
