Looks like dayz have problems detecting the monitors native res and aspect ratio. Quickfix, notepad++ open the cfg and set both the res to ex 800x600, then adjust ingame. Longfix, delete all cfgs and resett al manually ingame.

Win8 have some bugs in games not using raw mouse input, update for free to 8.1 ( also win8 isnt anymore supported ), and update drivers also, if this still dont fix it delete the files in your dayz files documents ( should be 3 cfg in there ). As dinosaurlegs sayd it may be just the cfg screwed, as first try do the cfg cleanup but i suggest to update win too, its free.

Start recording those stuff, maybe add server ip and playername ( yes devs you have to redo the stuff to tie name whit steam nickname, gold from the sky to ban cheaters ). Guys, again, start using OBS or shadowplay and post CLEAR videos, pic or didn t happened rule, you know.

Yah right ! As Quantum2k6 stated, server must be a resource hogs as many devs stated this too. So you can t run as many servers/machine as others games = pricey ( just for now i hope )

That file is autocreated if missing, just relaunch the game and editvahain as you please. If you feel paranoid check game integrity but it will not restore that file sinve its created by game if isnt already there whit default settings. You you feel fancy you coul try Recuva to restore the delete one

Maybe it left some services and those cause your problem. Use 7z or winrar to extrat the driver exe, then delete all folders but drivers, nvi2 and physyx, load od stuff in there.

Wrong, it cap fps at max screen refresh rate.You can avoid this cap if using vsync to avoid tearing by enabling triple buffering, this will make you able to have more fps then your refresh rate ( 60-75-100-120-144Hz ).

No i play whit 337.88 very well, you should check the game integrity whit steam and if you still stuck try to delete all cfg folders to reset at default settings.

Anyway first things to disable for fps are all post processimg effects, blur and bloom effects also, lower shadows, set the render to your monitor resolution and maybe disable the antialiasing if ur running 1920*1080, this will keep good graphic whitout bloom blur and other postprocess effects that i hate sometimes, try like this or use as a base to find your optimal visual xp

Whit that gtx680 you should stick whit 337.88whql Remove all compatibility opts even admin is not needed, unistal all nvidia drivers stuff from program manager, reboot, use this www.guru3d.com/files_details/display_driver_uninstaller_download.html Make advanced clean instal, and try to remove all bloatware you dont need, ex. Geforce update experince etc.
