i get about 20 fps in city. all settings low or disabled, custom launch, edited files :( i cant afford a new computer haha... anyone know of something i can do to help a little ? when then final build is done in the future, do you think this will improve ? on a lighter note, im on my best run since i got the game when it released. i have 2! guns... yes two ! hahaha and plenty of food and water. this wont last i'm sure.

hi ! i'm kyle. i dont use caps ever because im too cool for all of that :) i'm a musician from new york and have been playing dayz for about a month or so. former console gamer trying to make the transition to pc. ive never had a good run on dayz thus far without being shot or axed. i dont know the map well and find myself running through the wilderness a lot. i have 4 kids so there is not much time to play.

i have a sad feeling that the best fps im going to get is with everything low and/or disabled. i dont know very much about computers so any help would be much appreciated. im playing on a laptop and these are the specs i gather from the sticker on it haha. acer aspire 5560-7851 amd quad core a6-3400m with turbo core tech. up to 2.30 ghz amd radeon hd 6520g with 512 mb graphics system memory 6 gb ddr3 memory installed - ive been playing awhile and it gets pretty choppy, im not clear on what settings to put into the launch parameters. i have edited the game files for distance and such. any other ideas system-wise or parameter help ? :) thank you so much.
