Interesting. I will always take the side of the Soviets in a World War Two video game based on the events in Europe, but sadly i take the side of the Imperial Japanese forces (such as in Rising Storm). The Japanese have such unique weapons in my opinion, but i do know that America had FAR FAR FAR FAR better weapons than they did. I will be able to play it tomorrow and give my steam account name tomorrow as well. God Bless and Good Night to all of you!

Gews suggested earlier another PP variant, i think it was the PPD variant if i recall. I will be adding more variety to the list eventually! This week is basically hell with work and school trying to balance it all out. By the way, your comment about Red Orchestra 2 just made me buy the game Lol. The weapons in it look very unique, not just the standard COD like weapons. I look forward to playing it!

if the devs decided to add the PPSH-41 or another variant of it, then i do not think this would make it. I will have to look into this further because i have never even heard of the firearm. Learning something new every day about firearms. Thanks for your suggestion!

I was thinking about adding the Smith and Wesson Model 10 Revolver pretty soon since it is a .38 Special Revolver and is a widely used police server handgun all around the world. Going to look further into the Walther PPK, i know it was used by Nazi Germany during World War 2. The Remington 700 will most likely be added later after i get the M40 added The Winchester 45-70 i do not think would fit into the scienerio of Dayz sadly, i have shot this beauitful firearm in real life and i would love to have it in game, but i don't think it would be the best lever action to add I plan on adding atleast 2 Glock variants to the list in the feature. The devs are adding a CZ-75p Handgun Thank you for your suggestions!

It just hit me.. why don't they have an SVT-40 Semi-Automatic 7.62x54mm Rifle yet?... the SKS fires 7.62x39mm, but a 7.62x54mm semi-automatic rifle? I am definitely adding this to the list pretty soon.

Yes, they are many forums already that suggest that idea. I am hoping that the devs input something like that into the game. I kind of wish they would also implant bending back trees and attaching spikes to them (Like in Farcry: Instincts/Predator/Evolution). Or dig a pit and fill it with spikes like the Vietcong, although they covered their spikes in feces.

I am going to have to go with the AKM Assault Rifle, more abundant than the Kalashnikov AK-47 Assault Rifle that was produced earlier. It was a major improvement over the AK-47 as well, fixing many problems with the original firearm as well as it added new parts to allow easier handling. It quickly became the new standard issued assault rifle of the Soviet Union soon after its release to the public.

Planning on just adding the MP5

The MP5 was a noticeable SMG in the MOD version of Dayz. I am looking to add that pretty soon because of that main reason :)

The Barrett M82A2 .50 BMG Sniper Rifle i do have written down someplace, but i am not thinking of putting it down. It would match the setting yes, but i plan on adding the KSVK and the OSV for right now, i will keep it in mind!

I have it written down. The M40 will definitely make an appearance on this list.

Interesting... Animal Control would of used these rifles and tranquilizer darts to sedate animals before the outbreak, but it is possible for a few of those rifles to still remain. It would make an excellent ranged weapon in case you are not wanting to kill the person you are shooting.

A Soviet Era BMP-1 Infantry Fighting Vehicle, basically an APC. There are already blown up/ ruined remains of BMP-1s all over Chernarus, especially at an Airfield or Military Base. It would be great to have because it combines the idea of a light tank and a troop carrier, making the ultimate APC. It would not be over powered because the ammo would be extremly hard to find and the amount of fuel it would require would be unbelivable in a survival situation like this. Plus, if the BMP-1 breaks down during combat, the people inside will be trapped in and most likely would either be blown apart from an explosive or shot from a AT type rifle.
