Tired of running in Dayz, here is the solution
GunnerSquad replied to weedmasta's topic in General Discussion
Running in this game is ridiculous period. The map is way too large for you to be spending 10-15-30 minutes running somewhere. Why the fuck would you want to do that? Only to either get kos or get to a city with nothing. It's a complete waste of time. -
Items are supposed to be rare in a map the size of 3 county's with 40 players. Makes perfect sense...

You guys are just in denial. Also, what other purpose does this game serve in the phase that it is in besides looting military equipment and kos players? Killing zombies? This game is garbage the state it is in. Period. Flame my "complaints" all you want. I understand they intend to add more features. But all of my complaints I've made in this post I see in new threads left and right in your general chat right now. And Faramon, shut your hipster mouth you pussy.

You're all a bunch of fucking idiots. Enjoy your shitty game

I'll make my self a little more clear. I'm tired of running 10 minutes with no reward. Its frustrating and a waste of time when you get kos by someone. Only to reset and do it all over again.

Alright, before I begin I understand this is an experimental patch. With that being said lets begin. -Characters saved to that specific server: Horrible Idea. Reason being is that you spawn randomly. Which doesn't make it fair to those who don't spawn near the big cities like berezino. Which mean by the time you have walked (which I clocked at 6 minutes) from the Factory to Berezino the entire place has been ravaged. Which leads to my next point. -Items: When the server I was in reset, so did my character and all my loot. I dont know if that server specific but that sucked. Luckily I spawned off the coast near Berezino. The warehouse near the crane was empty. Completely. I didnt discourage myself so I kept searching. After spending 15 minutes going through locked doors, apartments, and homes around the town I found nothing but shoes and clothing. The Market luckily had a backpack and one can of food but that was it. I decided to run another 8 minutes to Gorka. When I arrived there no one had been there either. After searching majority of the town, I only found 3 cans of food, boots, a soda and a Mosin with no ammunition. My question is how do expect 40 people to survive without it turning into a game of cut throat? I understand you are trying to limit what one person can carry but what about someone else? He should have if not all but enough to compete with this games eviroment. The lack of Items in this game ties back into the Characters being saved to a specific server. No one wants to play on an empty server with the fear of no players joining. With that being said, if you join a high populated server from a low one, first, you lose your character, and second, you have to find items in a game that the only chance of you ever survivng is waiting for a reset. This ultimately leads to a lot of frustration. -Glitches: After applying spray paint to my mosin it disapeared. The game will alt tab to windows for no reason what so ever. -Gripes: I'm tired of running. Period. The map does not need to be so damn large. Not yet at least. You have 40 players max to a server with loot that is next to impossible to find majority of the time. Why make them run 15-20 minutes to cherno from berezino just to get shot? This is a great game with a lot of potential. And this is just my input. I hope it helps.
