Hmm idk, a system to detect gunfire around you may be a little tricky. I mean it's not impossible but that may be more of a hassle than other much simpler solutions xD

I mean ruining the game experience for oneself doesn't really constitute "cheating" in this instance, if you ask me. If someone wants to use teamspeak and ruin an awesome, thrilling, adrenaline shooting game experience for themselves, go ahead. I mean, It's not like i'm going to know when someone takes advantage of it in game, and like they say, ignorance is bliss xD

While I will admit there is drastically more to this game than KoSing and stealing pants, sometimes once youve been playing for a few days and are geared out, you wanna go find some people and eff their shit up...i mean it makes sense. the zombies pose no threat and my encounters with KoS situations or firefights have been some of the craziest adrenaline rushes i have ever had. Not saying that blatant KoSing is alright, but I think right now I can at least understand why it's so rampant at this stage in the game -

the silencer works fine, they havent put in the subsonic ammo for the silencer to work yet

uuuh yeah the m4 in DayZ right now is capable of dropping a zombie at like 400m lol...not that inaccurate if you ask me xD

Meh he does have a point. Sometimes in your long travels after you havent seen a zombie for a while it's easy for your troll brain to say "hey brah, havent seen them zombie things in a while. they must not exist anymore in the game" and then you totally forget to be careful and check your corners and a zombie comes up in your face as you're turning around and scares the bejeezus out of you xD

Don't forget, the FN can fire as fast as you can click. This is a ridiculous advantage over the revolver

Well idk, once you know what to be wary of as far as 3pp exploiting (or whatever kids are calling it these days) goes, it's easy to not get caught in a situation where you know youre at a disadvantage. for example, i try to never ever go near fire stations and empty fields, because i know badkids like to sit up top and trolol while they watch every move i make while i have no idea they're there xD when you know how they can exploit it, it makes it a bit easier to avoid situations where you die from it :)

But here's the problem. You're solution is a result of a lack of patience to...oh I don't know...NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THE COAST TOWNS? Seriously, there is no law of this game that says you have to run through a town full of people trying to shoot at you Find other ways to avoid death and killing xD makes the game much more fun the less killing you encounter, so when you do it's the adrenaline rush and experience of a lifetime

I have never gotten the adrenaline rush from a completed game like the way I do from the standalone...and it's an ALPHA Not since Ravenholm from half-life 2

ladders are dangerous in my opinion not because they're glitchy (havent died from a ladder incident yet, not saying it can't happen though) You are an absolute SITTING DUCK on a ladder. Like, dear god there's not even a way to sprint climb or anything. You're dead if you're on a ladder and someone wants to shoot you lol

There are plenty of ways to survive that don't involve murdering other people lol. You just have to be smart about it. Just because you're having a hard time with KoSing doesn't mean that this is the only way to survive. My regular character is going on 3 days of survival and I have fled from about 3 or 4 different firefights and lived. I just try not to kill unless I absolutely have to. There are always other options xD
