An awesome idea, and could be potentially a really cool thing, but never ever going to happen in DayZ SA. There are just too many factors that hinder such ability

I think it would be cool for an RPG spinoff later after the game is done and people start to mod this game up (which hopefully will happen, as we have seen in many cases the community seems to be quite adept at these sort of things) I think it could be really cool. But as for the game as it is now, no. No RPG stuff

As long as you log out in the middle of a road, field, or standing on a roof, you will log out immediately. I promise

Why are we still arguing about what is logical in real life like it applies to this game lol. I mean come on, you can hit a gas pump with a hammer and it blows up. Did I also mention you can take about 10 - 12 9mm rounds to the chest before you die? Please explain how RL logic applies. I would argue there are plenty of cases where in a firefight you fake your death when in a pinch and you could get away with it. For example if you do it in berezino or somewhere where people are high up shooting at you, they're not gonna go down and check your body. There are many times they will probably just say "ha I got him. On to the next one" and ignore you. So I would actually argue it would make sense to fake your death in this game. Stop trying to tie this game's logic to real life logic, please, people xD

Nothing will EVER stop people from running straight to military zones lol. Even if they updated it and nothing was there they'd still go there

Well to be fair, if you ran up to a gas pump in real life and beat it with a fire-axe, I don't think it would explode. So I think your friend gets a pass here. Just another victim of DayZ logic... kinda like "Oh 9mm bullets...those are, like, really small, right? So it must take about 20 of them to kill someone, right?"

Or maybe they could just stop doing retarded things like removing log-in sound. Or maybe preventing someone from re-entering a server for a serious amount of time after leaving it. But these ideas both make sense, so they will not be implemented. Not a fan of the 100m idea. Could also have a double-edged use, giving an exploit to players using it as a radar. Like "oh hey shit guys, don't spawn in yet, there's people here" etc. etc.

Private hives would instantly solve ghosting and server hopping IMO... but apparently there are an overwhelming number of people who don't like this idea.
