I personally wouldn't mind if in the future private hives could later these settings on their own, as I'm totally for server "owners" being able to pretty much shape their game play how they want, but at the same time I kind of don't...as I'm afraid there would be WAAAAY too many "EASY MODE FAST LEWTS OMG U DUNT DIE" servers as a result.

Odd...the kids I hear in this game would never say "clock ya!"...would probably be more like "OR I'LL F YOUR MOM TROLOL SCRUB NOOB OMG YOU'RE SUCH A DIRTY ARAB LAWL LOL FAG!" *sigh* kids these days....

And what game actively has NSA style voice chat monitors for a game such as DayZ that will take action against players being racist/inappropriate/whatever? Simple solution: don't play on their servers. Who cares what their MOTD is. If it offends you that much, report it.

Is anyone by tent city by zeleno? I am in dire need of someone to cut me down a tree and make me a fireplace kit, or trade me an axe of some kind. I haven't been able to get on my regular character since yesterday, with all the rain and what not my character got bugged as soaked super hard and is freezing. So if anyone is willing to trade me for an axe or something that would be super awesome.

you can design a game to force people into certain mechanics of a game, but you can never really force them to play it a certain way People are gonna play a game the way they want to, and some people get enjoyment out of playing DayZ in a way that "isnt meant to be played". It isn't up to the devs to force people to play their game the way they designed it to be played. Why should someone care if they are "experiencing" DayZ if they're having fun? Doesn't rub me the wrong way at all. I'm just glad they're playing DayZ

Thats exactly why i'm a fan of adding more trucks for the time being. there will be more vehicles eventually anyway, so why not just put more in experimental until more are implemented?

I think you are letting your disdain for racist people lapse your judgment. No, racism is not okay. No, it is not your job to make someone not racist, nor anyone else. Each person is responsible for their own actions.

Yes but that is something that can be dealt with at a later point in time IMO. Why not test the ACTUAL product first before you test people not finding them? why should you care if someone wants to be racist in-game? who cares. let them say racist things and be a horrible person. No need to try to go all nanny-state on voice chat. Not to mention that simply opens up all kinds of potential issue for misunderstandings and unsubstantiated bans. People should always have the right to be racist a-holes in local chat. If you don't like it get your own server and ban anyone you catch doing it, I guess.

Couple guys ended up chasing me through Berry. So I did what anyone else would do when faced with 2 melee attackers while you have run out of ammo for your shotgun it did not end well.

I live in the real world, where when running a business, testing a product expediently and efficiently is both time and cost effective. I COMPLETELY disagree with the OP. There should be no "fast travel easy mode" for the end product, or stable. I'm only advocating this idea for the experimental branch, dude. Okay well you must hang out with a different hunting crowd than I do. Done quite a bit of hunting and not once have I seen anyone nor witnessed my hunting companions drink the blood of their bounty. We honor our catch by cooking them and eating them...y'know, the normal way. Just because you can do it IRL doesn't mean it needs to be put into the game.
