unfortunately constructive criticism can be stifled by both sides unintentionally. You get the people who provide it, then usually the idiot fanboys who have a ridiculous knee jerk reaction to what they said, and then it degenerates into a flamewar and everyone forgets what they were talking about lol Constructive criticism is tough to come by on the internet, as everyone suddenly feels like they're being personally attacked lol

Meh no idea. I personally think it's kind of dumb, but I'm not bitter about it. And as the game slags on longer and longer the complaints will undoubtedly become more numerous, especially with hacking still a big issue.

I still think a lot of people are bitter over the whole Dean issue, IMO

Oddly, since the newest patch, I have not found a SINGLE Mosin. Have found several LRSs, but no Mosin, and the ammo has also been scarce for me, as well.

Not to mention, he made the valid statement that at some point in time the amount of feedback becomes greater than the return of investment. At no point in time did I attempt to dictate or define when that was, I simply asserted that more feedback is better IMO, and at no point did the Devs say that they are currently receiving too much feedback, so why not give more? However the contrary is true as well, as they also have not requested more. I will disagree with him on the idea he thinks my intentions are more personally motivated than those of noble intent, but he is entitled to his opinion, and addressed it in an adult manner. I highly doubt it. I don't know much about the new engine, but I'm not holding my breath for any kind of destructible environment. I feel like that would be a whole 'nother set of demons that would delay this game's completion. Don't get me wrong though, some sort of even SEMI destructible environment would be awesome. Battlefield 4 has spoiled me, as well as BF 1943. I mean sometimes I have wet dreams about what DayZ would be like on the engine that Tom Clancy's The Division runs on...

Interesting... So I guess what I can ascertain so far is that grenades are just all kinds of unreliable atm?

I would be fine with barricading and basebuilding in DayZ, but all I want: A: There is a way to salvage heavy duty doors and drag them to your designated building. B: People can't spawn inside your building, which would require some sort of item inside the building to keep it "occupied" status or something. C: A way to secure houses or buildings that doesn't necessarily allow any ol' person with a worn lockpick to come in and trash all your stuff. I think it would be a good idea to require multiple lockpicks to undo a personally secured door. (unless you're the owner) D: Additions to make it a fully self-sustainable compound, i.e. water collectors, farming plots, item storage E: Item storage that is SECURABLE. In other words you could bury it, put it in some sort of lock box that is a world loot item, store it in a locked vehicle, etc.

Well an enclosed building, yes you are correct, it could do some serious damage, but there are so many places for the pressure wave to be dissapated from in the ATC, as well as multiple surfaces between myself and the shrapnel.

Remember, when you put your computer on lower settings, it puts more strain on your processor for this game. So actually, it's better to find a balance between sharing the loads between your VC and your processor. I run my settings on normal and it splits the difference rather well

Dude I think you're completely misunderstood as to what Freedom of speech is. There is no law that bans words. You can say certain things not bound by penalty of law. People being racist is not breaking any laws. The only reason there are laws against certain things is due to other peoples' safety, such as yelling "FIRE!" in a crowded theatre. And the people of our government have CONSENTED to giving up these rights because they know that it is due to public and individual safety. And cool! kick and ban for racism on your own server! Because those are your rules and people need to abide by them, but you can't do this whole thought police thing. And protect the weak? Okay well monitoring voice chat and being banned for displaying racist names, words, chat, etc in game are a tad different.
