Well to be fair, if they made decisions based on the feedback of some of the more....umm....how do I say this without getting a warning point......"enlightened"....people here, the game would be much worse off than it is now lol. So I can't necessarily always blame them for not following with what the community wants. -

I would say for the most part that the dev team does a decent job of listening to their community and being involved with them. Not saying you implied the contrary, but just thought I'd throw that out there -

Now now ricp, he does kind of have a point. A consumer does have the right to be critical of the product he has paid for. However, there is a fine line between being a responsible, well involved consumer and being an unpleasable whine-machine :P

Edited to show proper post that won't get hidden :P Try instead of that bad word, use "Guy who does sneaky things" or "Guy who 'enterprises' around" or "Guy who does bad hack-y" things, although the last one is still pushing it. -
Lol you're funny. What about anything I said is racist? That's absolutely hilarious. And yes, I kill animals to eat their meat. How does that make me a lover of gore? I enjoy the sport of it, as well as being outdoors and enjoying nature. I don't do it because I love to skin and gut animals and bathe in their entrails. Congratulations for knowing nothing about hunting at all :rolleyes:

Well I did a search and didn't really see any thread about this, but before I posted it in bug reporting I wanted to check with the community to see their experience with the frag grenades. So long story short, I'm in the top floor of the ATC prone by the barrier next to the staircase, buddy is in the bottom floor under the stairs. Guy throws a grenade in, kills us both....... So is the grenade blast radius currently unconstrained by the environment? I've noticed the same is sort of true with the flash bang in some instances.

Yeah...really hoping in the coming months they overhaul melee. It is absolutely abysmal.

indeed it does need addressing. However I wouldn't get my hopes up anytime soon, and I only say that because the head light has been like this for quite a while. I think fixing the head light angle is pretty low on the list of things to do.

I'm just awaiting the shit storm that will be the move to the new engine. I foresee immense difficulties and angry nerd rage backlash in the following weeks of that implementation. -
I'd say getting the ghillie suit is rather difficult as it is to obtain. Burlap sacks have become the new rare item and I think I have come across maybe 3 in the past 5 days

I would love to make a ghillie suit, but after seeing Grimey Rick get one twice and subsequently get killed by a hacker each time he finished making it, I think I'm going to stay away from them for now lol.

Idk I'll have to disagree. I think the average gamer knows when they've been killed by a hacker or not. -

I don't think it has anything to do with the Devs. You just happened to have enough luck to not run into any of them in that timeframe. There is quit a bit of hacking going on at the present build. private, public, doesn't matter. I've run into 3 in the past week. -

jk :P I don't disagree that it CAN be done...I just don't think it will. I mean...I don't want to sound like a cynic here, but my legs are still breaking randomly upstairs in buildings. I don't see a destructible environment coming down the pipe anytime soon -

I never really understood that...like...what his job really was. I mean he doesn't bug fix...and if he just walks around all day looking over peoples' shoulders he isn't coding... I'm not saying he doesn't do anything, but seriously like what was his role? -

Really the only thing that drive me nuts about this game is the absolutely uselessness of Battle Eye and the rampant hacking. Other than that the game is pretty solid. A few bugs here and there, but it has come rather far. I think some of the patches have been a bit rushed, and some of the coding comes off as a bit confusing to me personally, but still a rather solid game all things considered. -
Btw, I think we all know who the REAL experienced looters are....
