Just set your filter to "Multiplay" and it should work just fine. Those servers are hosted by DayZ I believe.

About 7am server time... before you log in and when your picking a server to play on on the right sight next to the ping there is a "time" column. Thats the time in game. But around 7am you should be ablet o see like normal day time.

You should use the SEARCH function on the forums....might find a post or two, maybe three, maybe even 654 post on the current issues regarding losing characters...

Tried it, doesnt work. Im serious if evryone sets their filter to "multiplay" servers and plays on those your character will save... tested in at least 5 servers no issues.

Yeah, but did you see the post about how certian servers are connected to the central hive and others are not? Read through this: its twoards the end however rocket did explain that the DayZ owned servers are connected to the hive correctly and you will NOT lose charicter if you stay on these servers because they adjsted settings to make sure it would work properly on their end. Server hopping isnt an issue related to this problem. You should be able to "server hop" in a sense. What if the server you always go to is full? Then what ? You're supossed to just start over? I understand your definition of "server hopping" but thats a whole different thing that we cant really do anything about. The current issue is a server related problem that server providers need to fix on their end.

This is what im talking about. I searched Chermo last night after a fresh server restart, I was the only one in the server. Entire city blocks empty, doors were all closed. Found a can of tuna, a can of beans, a soda and a baseball bat and after about an hour I died of starvation. IF we want to talk about simulating real life senarios I am willing to bet that there would be more food than that in a major city. something is wrong with the loot system after the patch. -

Mine is working and saves character if I come back to the same server. If I switch to a different one everything is gone and its a fresh start. -

no no, i searched inland towns, Dolina, Orlovets, Polana, Sharkovka, Solnichiny. and Staroye... Nothing.. finaly ran up to Nizhnoye and found a single can of tuna, then ran to Berezino and found nothing. thats where I died. me and 5 others were looking for food and sharing what we could find to make it. we all died eventually and around the same time. My point being, there just isnt enough food on the map, or loot isnt respawning fast enough. plus is it was pitch black the whole time which made it more difficult.

Charicter is getting reset after every server switch. This bug is more common with thtis new patch.
