  1. I fugured out what my issue was. I hopethis post helps out other wit hthe same issue. :-)
  2. All that is hard to read in red man.. Anyways, check your firewall. Turn it off once and see if the game runs then. Thats an issues I had which is strange because no other game need it.
  3. Issue resolved, scroll down to the end to see eha it was. Possibly make this a sticky so that others can learn from this? I JUST payed for then downloaded DayZ Standalone Alpha and when I try to launch it through steam I get this error message http://puu.sh/6unl2.jpg even though I have DirextX 11 and even found DirectX 8a and installit also. Running: Windows 7 Ultimate x64 AMD Radeon HD 7700 Series I have run dxdiag and the Diagnostic ran fine, NO ERROES and everythign is Enabled. Video Card info, no new uopdates available. http://puu.sh/6uXBO.png I even followed the steps given on steam: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=9237-ROPG-2925 _______________________ FIXED I noticed that even after all I had done my Comodo Dragon firewall was in 'Sandbox protection' mode so I decided to turn it off AND turn off 'Game Mode' which only keeps the messages you get from interfering while you play. I launched Dayz Standalone and BAM, I got three requests from my firewall to allow aspects of the game to continue. I allwed them then monebt later I was on the Start screen! I hope everything here will help anyopne else withthese issues. - Uno
