its too early on, but i agree most likely later on they will have a purpose.

as much as it is annoying to be KoS'd...its a necessary evil man, its what makes your heart pound when your entering cities and clearing those rooms. It puts the thoughts in your head, will there be loot here? or some asshole trying to feed me a bullet or two.

The answer is yes. I am a fairly new player and I find that DayZ SA is just as fun as DayZ Mod....even with the lack of content and bugs. The latest patch added a lot of fun to the game even with simple item updates and loot changes...so I cannot wait to see what the future has in store, it can only get better and its already great! -
yeah I hope they fix it I can see a lot of people exploiting that lol

it surely sucks to get shot in the back dude, but honestly its only 1-2 hours before your all geared up again. Happened to me yesterday and wasn't to hard to get back 90% of the gear I had. Went to bed thinking the same thing as you...''fuck it kill everyone'' But now it seems silly to sink to his level. Play the way you enjoy don't let others manipulate your style.

yeah the last patch has changed a lot of the loot spawns, and added some new items. I would assume they changed the spawns for realism or because of the server hopping that players are doing.

yeah I noticed that too, even on full servers people are not spread out, they seem to stick to certain areas...half of the map is empty on full servers lol.

hope you realise people server hop not just for loot, but to confirm there suspicions about things / changes they find in game, if its happening in more then one server then chances are its new change or a bug.

hey guys I just logged on after the update was going on today, and when I returned my gear was completely different and I was very far away from where I logged out. Did we have a roll back or something??? because I swear this is the set up I had last week and lost when I died... and now I switched server and started as a fresh spawn wtf is going on here...

just wondering if they changed loot from spawning in the Military tents at the NWAF...been to several different servers at different times, and they always are 100% empty (not even damaged items).

@ErichZann, yeah I agree the other zombie game I play has the same problem...small adjustments seem to be to hard for the development team there, so they do everything in extreme highs and lows. I hope this is not the case here, but I would not be surprised.

the NWAF tents are empty too, run back there every few hours and its still empty...not even crappy gear is spawning.

clearly you don't understand the meaning off different times.... @weedmasta yes I assume this is a new feature, but you would think 1/20 tents would at least have 1 item....weather its shiitty or not.

mine completely vanished lol, searched up high and down low for about 20 mins even checked the rooms below maybe it fell through the floor, but no dice she was gone. not to sad about it though....with the 1 chamber round its very silly. dude with a pistol can just keep bumping up towards you as you reload and eventually he will out gun you if your 1 shot at a time doesn't get him lol.

that's why the forum exists, so he can ask people who already have experience with this issue. So if you couldn't understand the OP he has already tested it...and is wondering if anyone else had the same results, don't be a meat head. -
if you mean your ingame name was changed, then in the bottom right corner of the main menu screen (were your name is displayed) click on your name and a cursor will appear. Then you can delete the current name and create a new one. Hope this is what you ment.

it seems to be getting better for me as the night goes on, most servers remember my character (the rolled back one) so I am able to progress again. But the odd server will send me back to the coast as a fresh spawn.
