Just... well... just.. :huh: Difference between hacks, bugs, glitches... I'm sure you know this. IF you truly didn't download any external items, I hope your ban is over turned... You'll probably need to submit more information than " I was global banned". Name, steam ID, etc etc... try the bug tracker,, or Battleeye as blacklabel has said :)

Most definitely sounds like it. He's given no clear explanation as to how these people killed him. Just advertising what they do.. 3 posts.. all in this topic.

no, no, no. no. no. One of the biggest, fun things, tense moments in this game - is not know who that player in the distance is. Though, It's been mentioned before. Arm Bands. a tiny, tiny thing that helps identity a group.. your own group. If people really insisted on this "hero / bandit" ID thing... nothing more than arm bands. It'll take everything away from the game what is currently there. -

Mainly close to Berezino. But I did spawn in Novy Sobor last night after my char got deleted again.

Anyone with a decent sense of direction and a brain cell can look at the map.. I rarely even follow roads unless I'm meeting with someone. Straight through the countryside.. job done! No need for a compass either, it just slows you down :thumbsup:

I'd rather them take their time. As long as they need. We've seen rushed games before... Either way, they will get grief with what ever direction they go! The fact that Sony are interested in a console port is enough for them to see the potential £££'s. They will only do this if they "don't f**k up the pc version". If that that's not enough incentive, I'm not sure what is.. Give the guys a break. Considering this is Alpha, I've had more fun on this game than any other 'finished' game! -

As frustrating and some times gobsmackingly shocking at how you die sometimes. I now enjoy the journey to gearing up.

Indeed ^^^. Similar to how the Medic group has formed. Though, with something like this. Should wait until the camps/tents or whatever it is are implemented. Once the group has been made / server restrictions are a bit more flexible. These controlled zones would be much easier to actually control :)

Sorry, couldn't resist... But in all seriousness. Personally, I think the engine is great for DayZ. You have to remember, from now on - things can only improve / get better. Quick bickering, enjoy being part of the experience of helping build a potentially great game :)

Of the dozens of people I've met, only 3 have been hostile. 1) Bumped into team mate, I think the shock/panic caused him to axe my friend. 2) 2 KoS guys last night. It's easy to join the flock and take out anger on others.. but watch this vid.. hero (Y)

This is what 'Hardcore' needs to be. Not simply a change of camera angle :) -
I opened up the map (full screen), clicked to see what happened. And put an axe in my friends body! Opps. Probably my fault for having my axe "raised". Lesson learnt... Thankfully, he's not dead (yet), just a very grey screen. But still, when looking at the map - you shouldn't be able to hold a weapon. Especially since it's a full screen item.

The devs are trying to make this as real as possible (excluding the zombies!). Spray paint and gas cans have their uses. However, things like this should explode when shot...

Ah.. didn't realise. Though.. I thought of using them to lay traps... or at least like a warning shot if I'm on guard duty.

This is what I thought. Well, I dragged the map to the hotbar for easier access. Opened it up. Looking at the map, click, axe. It's logical to think that the axe would have been put away automatically. Just possibly something to look at / be aware of :) :edit: It does seem like a bug, I'll report this now. (Y)

Quick question regarding mosin spawn since patch

Yep, unlucky! We recently found a moisin, m4, 2 revolvers, 2 fnx45 pistols all within 20/30 minutes of each other I think. I just can't find the clip for the FNX! -
I'm not sure what they're actually called.. Hotkeys 1,2,3,4 etc. I have a couple of items in them that I no longer own. But can't seem to remove them... I've tried right click / click + drag. Failed.
