What is with people? 90% posts on this forum are full of negative crap. Mainly moaning about the game which they knew about wasn't complete. If people didn't set up due to failure, there'd be a lot of things in this world that wouldn't exist. Our job as alpha tester's is to help the development of a game which has great potential. Yet, no one does. Post after post, topic after topic bitching because they've been killed or some dodgy rabbits making zombie sounds. Plenty of developers use systems like this, not just games, software developers too. It helps give them an idea of what people are looking for. They don't have to take the ideas, but it gives clearer future direction. Had BI implemented this, people would jump on it straight away. See those petitions? Get 100,000 sign ups? They get noticed, they get discussed in the house of commons (UK). This, is no different to that :-) You don't have to like it or even be involved. But shitty comments like "it'll never work" are just plain ignorant. :thumbsup:

There's no info on there to suggest any self promoting. Not even a name. Yes it's empty at the moment, but, generally - if things get used, they get noticed :) As said above, they've got the option of taking it off my hands to manage it them selves (Y) You must agree though, the current suggestion topics are a bloody mess. It's stupid >_< p.s: criticise away, I don't mind :P

I'm sure Rocket said somewhere that Zombie noises from wildlife is there as a place holder until the animal sounds get added. I presume this may tie in with the hunting bit too..

I was about to ask this too. Sometimes the server list's don't even show up for friends to join. Is there like a developer console? e.g: /connect IP?

I think you'll find brit's have a few tricks up their sleeves other than pulling a trigger ;) Lets not get into American's shooting.. thread needs to be closed!

Nah, this guy did it 2/3 times. Came out, fired a few shots, hid. Came back out again. It's all good though, team mate got him :thumbsup:

No cheats. Nothing so far. But this glitching through a wall is bugging me. Shame on the guy who did it though, didn't believe that there was actually more people around him than me. I managed to spawn literally feet away from your dead body. It's a pretty good fit for my feminine curves! ;-) lol. Serves you right for server hopping too. Enough items to kit out a squad :thumbsup:

By far the best Beret in the game. Screw the military helmet. I'm sticking with my Red Star :thumbsup:

Been said a few times. Awareness, observational skills are a must. This can make you have a great day or a shit one! But, also learning to navigate without a compass or checking the map every 20 seconds :thumbsup: Makes things a whole lot quicker & safer. Learning this, also keeps you out of the majority of danger (avoiding main roads etc).

Been a fan of the M4. Never found an ACOG scope though. Nor a LRS for the mosin. Desperate to try out the mosin with one equipped. I'll swap for some Pristine food ;)

You shouldn't be able to melee a zed. They should be that dangerous, it's a huge risk to even attempt a melee attack. City zeds shouldn't be alone, but in groups. If you want the loot behind zeds, you should have no other option but to shoot them (due to increased danger levels) thus risk giving away your position to players near by. It's far too easy at the moment. They will improve though, devs have said this.. how.. I'm unsure.

I've had my colour come back loads of times. Obviously in the healing process. But it's never actually said it on my screen :(

This made me spit tea on my keyboard... thanks! :P Last night, it seemed like the zeds had doubled. A friend had a "zombie train" of 8 round him at one point. Obviously a reset server. Zeds needs to do more damage, and more of them. Give me more! You should have to shoot a zed.. not even get close enough to use an axe. They have there good and bad bits. They'll improve in time, it's far too early to actually moan about anything if I'm honest!

I've yet to see this mystical healthy status. In fact, I think I might have more chance of riding on my unicorn going bandit hunting B)

Guy, It's either a bug or items which have only been half added to the game. No biggie (unless you're in mid firefight!). It'll get fixed through a future patch :)

I concur! A Much better experience whilst playing with friends. Soloing is fun too, you need to be more on your toes. But having a friend there is helps at times! If anyone is from the UK, feel free to tag a long :thumbsup: Fran, where are you in game?

No need to uninstall now. use steam mover :thumbsup: It can even move the full steam directory too.

I do apologise your excellence. I was incorrect by '5'. Sheesh. Please read post's above yours... my question was already answered. Question.. not fact.

What you could try is: You: Log in. Use 'steam mover' (I think it's called) You: Move your dayz folder to a different location using the software you downloaded. Brother: Probably has to re-download dayz.. If any files are connected to accounts inside the directory, this should solve it. Failing that, I have no idea!

You can also find a well (or plenty of water). Sit down, don't move, eat + drink & repeat. It will be full colour in 10/15 mins :) Rather risky giving him your gun though! lol
