As the title says... Vilayer have a "rcon" execution options.. what is this? Not much in their knowledge base. How does one send a message to the server without actually being on the server? I know there was a thread about a 3rd party rcon 'thing'. Can't seem to find it now, only from 2012... Ta Mucho

I was just curious by this... Wondered if this was a way?

I really hope what ever they fix.. doesn't effect my own performance! :( I'm getting upto 100fps sometimes. Judging by other people's systems, I shouldn't! But still. Don't break mine for the sake of others. haha :P

Ahhh. A very comical response. You essentially labelled us all as murders, torturers and what ever else people do in game. You speak about your area. You have no idea about others, or mine in fact. Don't presume that others would do this. :) You speak about no education, again, you don't know me/us or what we do :-) My response was indeed a sarcastic reply. Mainly due to your use of tarnishing everyone with the same brush. Had you have provided sources, information or true facts that say "people who act like they do in games, act like that in person". My response would have been different :thumbsup:

I started off playing the same way. Very friendly, helpful. Only shot when shot upon. However, that quickly changed. Of course, this depends on the area of map I'm in too. East, middle, north all see more friendlier people. South however, is every man for him self. If I'm / we're in the South. We now kill everyone with a weapon. This is because everyone with a weapon has tried to kill everyone they see. We even had a "real life" friend in our group... he decided to turn against us. Traitor. His brother died. They lost. All ended well... for us. Do I feel bad? No. There is no right or wrong way to play this game. Every dies. Even new spawns if they are rude, ignorant, abusive or liars :-) Irish? Who said it's a healthy release of tension?! Every big fire fight we get into... is tense as hell. Hearts start pumping! This game is a hazard for ones health! I don't believe I'll live past 30 at this rate.

Server side? Client Side? I think not.. 1) It's not Wednesday. 2) No dev change log details. 3) Google hasn't helped. It suddenly decided to jump to 100... and still is. Oddly, no new updates, no driver updates. Nothing.

Primary: SSD Secondary: HDD my Steam is installed on my HDD. I moved DayZ over to my SSD with "steam mover". The only thing SSD's increase, is improved loading times :-)

Indeed.. I have no idea what he means. The chest is 1) safest place for them. 2) Close to your gun, easier/quicker to reload :)

ah.. from the Wirral, I 'll make it clearer ;) 1) I see a glitcher 2) The server doesn't tell me the name of the glitcher/hacker. There is no way to find out. 3) This means, I can't kick the correct person. Unless, I kick everyone I don't know. 4) Result, the glitcher/hacker keeps coming back. 5) The only way to ban a glither/hacker effectively is leaving it to battleye. --- Unless of course you mean the reason why we can't see names/find out who someone is. We're not meant to know who people are. It's realism. [FYI, I'm joking about the Wirral.. I used to live there. Hoylake :thumbsup: ]

All games will get hackers / glitches. But not as many as people like to think there is. As above, as an admin of a server. I would like to be able to tell who is who sometimes. Whether this is by a private message to the victim "XX killed you". I don't know. But any glitches/hackers. We can't kick/ban. It makes no sense :-( That said, I know the reason why we can't... and it's good. I like it. But, it's catch-22..

Yep... I love my Improvised backpack! Such a low profile, can see over your shoulder. I just want it black! It carries more than enough slots. 20. Jacket: Ammo. Vest?: Shotgun + rounds. Pants: I never hold important stuff in my pants. Only blood bags or Iv start kits. These are easily replaced. Pants get ruined straight away. Backpack: Some food, morphine, splints, canteens, med supplies and spare scopes for friends. And a bible (needs replacing), this is for prisoners, who get rewarded :P That's it! There isn't a need to hold anything else. Food & cans generally get drank straight away. Sadly, died though due to "beam me up scotty" hacks. But the above is my end game/final loadout.

It's not fixed. But it will happen. Besides, what he say's makes perfect sense. Chill the hell out :-D

As others have echoed, nothing wrong with SweetFX. Used it for years. Most notable changes in game, was A:CM... that was a total disaster. Here's mine, still work in progress. There seems to be a bit too much glare/shine in places. But, this is down to the shadow settings in game too. It may look utter crap for some of you, but the colours to me - are pretty spot on. aha. we've spent the last 2 days searching for a god damn mosin for a buddy. All we've seen is: SKS's, shotguns and double barrel riffles.

Missy, I have a program called MorphVOX Pro. Whilst it is aimed at changing your voice.... you can add custom recorded sounds that you can bind to a hotkey. I'm sure we can find a female to record various words/sentences for you to use :-)

Indeed! Got to double check sometimes on the interweb! There needs to be a universal sarcastic font... I say this, as more than half the people on these very forums use their forehead to bash random keys while entering dribble. I sense the sarcasm here. Or at least I hope I do! The glitch is only there because they dropped a hanger onto the mapmaker on slightly uneven ground. Simple fix. Same as that "mini pyramid". Someone just forgot to click an extra go :-D

I made my first sawed off shotgun last night. I've yet to test it on anyone yet, I just love going through towns firing it off with it's huge artillery type sound effects! It craps everybody up. ha!

I've recently tested the experimental. And whilst I don't have any performance issues on stable. Experimental did actually seem smoother for me and a few friends (Y) It'll be good when these tweaks come in from AMD/Intel/Nvidia. Though, I fear my performance will actually decrease :-( I'm currently out performing most of my friends even though I have a lesser system! I managed to hit 100 fps yesterday according to bandicam :huh:

What's the fun with just playing with clan mates and locking servers? That's not the game. We rent a server.. why? So we have one server that we now play on all the time :-) no other reason than that. Quit the moaning about not having the power! It'll come. When it does, you can enjoy your "walk around the map gearing up without firing a bullet" :-)
