    Well we found the AUG at a Heli crash site twice in a couple of day, up near the NWAF, and I have to say it looks amazing and although I found the kick shocking it is a great addition to a growing game. More of the same pleas!

    I'm usually not so excited by clothing but the balaclava is an excellent addition to this patch. Our identity as characters is fairly restricted by a limited choice of character models and by have a face obscuring balaclava we can imagine that beneath maybe our own faces wait to be revealed when the handcuffs are on and the words 'who are you!" are spat in our faces as the balaclava is ripped free!

    In the south I am a bright yellow dot murdered in Cherno...this data is a good step forward but...what we need now is a map that shows characters who die with 5mins, show them in red and the rest in blue. This will reflect the useless spawning locations where people commit suicide. That would definitely change the interpretation of this very generalized data.

    Also the current number status of 0.50 does not represent a halfway mark for Alpha either. Brian Hicks explained recently that just because 0.50 is half of 1 does not mean we are halfway!

    They are making guns rarer. Magnums can definitely be found in the Tower Hotel in the heart of the new city Novo.

    It is great to see Private Shards are coming....but we need a lot more control of the content. Atleast it's the first step into new DayZ worlds. I know of lots of moders who can't wait to get their hands on some workable content.

    Actually I think you'll find that the M4's are not going poof as it turns out. I was in Cherogorsk today and found two M4's (with the minor .45 update). It seems they have reinstated at least 2 M4 spawning spots.

    I have had no problem with direct communications either but like you I am having random crashes or the game crashes as I log off. I agree about the server connection and I have have also found that rubber banding is isolated to some small areas. My ping is also always below 30 so this for me is not a factor.

    I'm finding lots of hacked ammo at the mo. Has anybody seen any word on what the developers are doing about the hackers in the game? Any dates as to when this might be rightfully removed from the game!

    Despite the Binoculars action being slightly broken they look amazing!!!! Rough with the smooth....great work in general devs!
  22. Totally right. I was just in the new town and the ground is cutting through the buildings. They'll have it fixed soon no doubt.

    Agreed. They are planning a voxel type system that will allow them to control the floor space more effectively so as to block zeds and guide them down defined paths. This is working but I got the impression that it won't be too long before it's live. What I'm looking forward to is slamming a door in their faces and then barricading it with planks!
