I've had this happen :D Don't change server on the boat. just keep re logging or keep running into the wall/vaulting you will eventually lag or clip through.

I hear a lot of people saying that it helps not to run when sick but both me and my friend have both been sick at some point and we always just carried on as normal sprinting from city to city. I personally don't think it affects it and if it does very little and not enough to worry about. As long as you use something to help cure the sickness such as rice or medication. The only effect that I know of from sprinting is your aiming and just general sound from being tired.

I only use the splitting axe most of the other melee weapons are crap and take to long especially when you need to move quickly or there are more than 2 or 3 coming towards you.

If you have selected to opt out then it's done.. You won't need to "update" or download anything since both beta builds are running the same version at the moment.

Are you referring to the mod? Wrong section if so. This section is for standalone.

So don't server hop? Problem solved. They are trying to get people to stop doing that. Although I believe there are a few issues with saving with the new build. -
As far as I know your character is long gone already. That message is just because a new item was added but obviously it is missing the file. Unrelated to your character. It might run fairly terrible you don't even meet the minimum requirements. Mine only just meets the requirements and I get about 28 fps on really low (some occasional drops).

I played the mod and the standalone and i'd say SA runs better and is a lot smoother although occasionally I do get some drops but seems to be optimised better than the mod IMO. My specs only just meet the min requirements so you should be able to run it decently. I get about 30 fps on low. When comparing arma 2 and SA standalone definitely runs better already.

Dean mentioned it had been added. A lot of goodies were added that weren't mentioned in the patch notes..

Definitely need cars again. Would be so helpful to be able to pick up friends new to the game and driving up to your hidden outpost (assuming they are adding tents again etc)

I like the fact they are adding little things like this but not mentioning them. Leaves more to be explored. -
What's your download speed? I experience it when I reach my data cap and my net has been slowed it only happens in dayz and 7 days to die every other game is fine.
