Hi guys i got a problem that prevents me from playing dayz and i need some help. I made a topic a while ago and no one responded, i continued trying to fix it but it persits, so im making another one hoping to atleast get one reply A few weeks ago i bought dayz, and even tough i had 2mb of internet connection i had a relative low ping (araund 160) and when i searched for server i had a very long list (no less than 30, even with some filters). After some days i stopped playing because i was bussy, and some days ago i changed my ISP and got a connection of 14 mb, perfect for playing. I entered dayz and used the play button and played lagless for the first time of my life, but after i commited the stupid mistake of trying to change servers, all went to hell. My server list is empty, even selected on internet, and the few times som servers apear they are only from one country, far away (australia, brazil or south africa), with no less than 400 ping. I tried disabling my firewall and everything, and i know its not a problem with the ISP because Dayz is the only game to give me this issue. Further more dayz seems lock down my router. If i try to refresh the server lits suddenly my internet connection drops, so i cant navigate or do anything for 5 minutes. Strangely, steam keeps running with no probles, even voice chat. Can anyone please help me to atleast play?

Well maybe its way to basic, but have you tried switching steam servers? Also you could try reinstalling windows, I know its very triky, but if your old computer handles it better than your new it could be a problem in the OS. Also, have you contacted the shop that sold you the pc?

I also have this problem. I recently changed isp and went from a 2mb adsl network to a 14 mb optic fiber. The old router didnt have any problems at all with dayz, everything worked nice and easy, but the new one has this problems and the server list only gives me servers form Australia, suth africa or brazil, all of them with over 400 ping. Btw whats your router model? my new one is a thomson, i dont know the model (box doesnt specify), but its a fairly new one

To be honest i dont know, but if that is the case remeber this is just alpha, so it must be coming (?)

PS: i saw somewhere that dayz is having some sort of problem with server lists, but it seemed to be solved in almost every topic.
