Yes the Saline bag has been nerfed and only coughs up 500 blood. As far as slots are concerned the Saline bag can either be ready to (already connected to IV starter kit) taking up two slots, or not ready to go (no connected IV start kit) and only takes up one slot. If you get one not ready to go, you must combine with IV start kit which makes the package bigger now taking up two slots. Hope this helps.

To the OP, I am one of the guys hiding in the bushes shooting you. However I am role playing too. I hunt long-pig in Dayz....hopefully they add cannibalism to the game to make role playing more fun for me. I want it to so that if you eat long pig once, its the only food you can live on. That way I am forced to hunt long pig to survive in Dayz. I think that would be interesting and allow KOS to have a dynamic that fits into this role playing world some of us want so badly....
