When I do the game crashes. Anyway to do it externally?

After everything was done and redeemed through the website I had already had Steam open, apparently it needed to be restarted before the new game would be shown. I didn't explain because it's pretty dorky, but if there are other dorks out there I hope this helps. If you knew my gaming background you certianly wouldn't call me a noob -- and I've worked Steam before.. But this one was an uphill battle! All is good now. Today was my birthday so this was my treat.

I don't think I conned thankfully. Everything was through the DayZ and BIS site, PayPal says it was "Bohemia Interactive Publishing" that my payment went to. There just hasn't been a follow up e-mail telling me where to start the standalone download. I feel like I'm missing something but I've searched around pretty thorough. Also nothing in my e-mail yet, including the spam. Perhaps its a PayPal slow-processing issue. Not sure, hadn't ever had that problem before. Thank you for the help everyone.

I'm sorry if I'm missing something blatant. I purchased the standalone through PayPal, I have Steam downloaded and ready I just don't know where to go from here? Under "My Games" on the bistudio website it doesn't list anything there. Thanks for the help!
