So I played for a couple of hours last night for the first time after this patch initially launched. Aside from having lost my Long Range Mosin through all the desync issues (my own fault - I was dual wielding), I managed to survive any "invisible assaults" and am still skulking about my corner of the map. Zeds are much better (challenge is good, right?) and most of the desync issues seem to be resolved. Still seem to get the odd rubber banding tho, which I hadn't experienced before. Seems to mainly be when sprinting out of buildings, I'll be RB'd back into the inside of the building - usually running in a corner. All in all a great patch tho - lot's of great stuff added. keep up the good work...

Even when I'm a freshie, I won't attack another survivor unless provoked. Although I've quite happily beat guys to death with the likes of a fire extinguisher cos they shot at me and missed. If you're gonna go prey on fresh spawns, make sure you don't miss... They have nothing to lose.

Thanks for keeping us all posted Rocket. You guys are doing a great job, not only with the game, but also with the speed at which you acknowledge issues such as this. It's a refreshing change from the AAA studios who take weeks (or months) to even acknowledge that something is wrong with their game.

Absolutely, 100% true. The game looks amazing - the first time I saw the light shafts from the sun shining through the trees, I stood for a good few minutes in awe of the engine. And besides some interaction bugs, a severe lack of zombies and little variation of loot (all of which will be added and tweaked throughout these Alpha stages), it's a solid, fun game. Where else can you experience the pure adrenaline rush of beating someone to death with a fire extinguisher after they miss you with their Mosin? At least without jail time...
