I played DayZ for the first time in months, logged in started to run and this is what essentially happens.

Sorry if this causes an arguement but I was wondering why people think playing one means they are better then the poeple playing the other? Now I mainly play Third person and recently started playing first. After starting to play in first I got a new (bigger and wider) monitor. It allows me to see a lot more in First person. However I noticed something. 3rd person helps people with smaller monitors still see more then some people with bigger monitors. Raising your field of view can cause motion sickness while gaming so might not be a option for some. I understand that third pesron allows you to be cheap and see what wouldnt be realistic, however this game isn't 100% realistic even if you wanted it to be it can't be. The eingine is to clunky. Granted they have fixed a BUNCH from the Arma 2 mod and it runs more fluid and smooth. However being able to cary 2 guns on you back instead of 1 gun and a melee or have the option of both would be realistic. Bleeding would stop after a bit if you got hit. However in DayZ from what I have experience you bleed until dead or bandaged. Which is not realistic. The movement system is clunky but easily bearable. Can't kill critters and birds (assuming for now). Can't open things to look for loot. You can sew your clothing back to worn wihout using any cloth or rags to patch it up. Blood testing I don't think works that way in real life (I could be wrong). You would be able to take your own blood in real life. There is a lot that isn't realistic however it is easily tolerated because it is just part of DayZ and we know it is a game. However when combat is talked about then you guys want it 100% realistic from what I have heard when it will never truely be. Teamspeak and raidcall kind of foil those plans. 3rd person also allows for the lone wolf to survive more easily. In first person if you see someone then they have the possibility of seeing you depending on where they are looking. Now I will say I prefer first person more then third however I see the benefits of both and dont understand the hate. Just hating to hate? Or is there something I'm not seeing.

Thanks for the words man, not really bothered by it. I am a waiter at a restaurant so I have been told worse for doing less. I like Let's plays however they either have to be like the Game Grumps where I don't watch as much as listen in the background for funny entertaining stories, or Jesse Cox style. OMFGCata (Jesse Cox) does Let's plays but gets involved in the story of the game which is something I like to watch before bed when getting tired but not ready for sleep. Most part though I like short video clips like you said. Oh no I know how xD has happened three times now that I have recorded all of them I got a video for. Anyways, this was my first DayZ video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFFQBqPhJYY if you like this video you would most likely like this one. Roll through the wall is a way of life, not just a way out of walls.

Honestly man, I appreciate the feedback however others seem to enjoy it. So I will probably keep with it. The fact that you think I am trying to sound like Morgan Freeman just means I am sounding like someone Narrating. Othewise it would just be some guy talking. So in all honesty I thank you for the compliment. If you don't like it, I'm not forcing you to watch my videos. However thanks for the feedback.

It isn't a Morgan Freeman impersonation. It was me just using a narrator voice. I have tried a Morgan Freeman impression before and this certainly was not my attempt at it.

I played DayZ and I get stuck... again.... but like always I make it into a weird video and of all dayz (see what I did there.... oh puns...) my Birthday. Although I don't like to celebrate it, I found it ironic since I haven't been this deep in a building in so long! xD

That kid isn't even trolling just really bad shot and honestly he is one of the worst players I have seen. I have seen new players play smarter then him. As it goes for stupid player you have me defeated. I ASKED bandits to take my blood after giving me food and they shot me instead. Some players are stupid and I even told them I was A+ blood type so it wasn't an unkown type.

Is it funner by your self or with someone?

I prefer by myself because when I am with my friends... they tend to me on the more badnit to KoS side and I can't even kill someone that deserves it without feeling bad afterwards. Don't get me wrong I will shoot if you shoot but I really try to avoid actualy fighting if possible. One thing I hate is when people think you're bluffing when you say you have friends watching us and won't tell them where your friends are positioned. They shoot you just to be killed seconds after. Honestly I really wish DayZ was friendly but I find it easiest to be friendly when by yourself. However I also find bandits are more hostile if you have military clothing so I stick to checkered shirts cowboy hats, any pants, and a chest holster. Bacpack is usually the hunter or mountain but prefer the hunter to look like I have less loot to take. -
not as coppy as I was hoping but still a decent video.

I personally want to shoot every girl I see because they always tend to have a friend coming to group up and/or they are trying to work an angle. I play friendly but I have watched 4 girls all backstab random people I don't know. Whether it was just distacting them long enough for their friends to come or to make them believe they are friendly to only shoot them 5 seconds later. Girls actually have it easy where you might have to deal with some sexist crap like that but later the sexist crap is an advantage. So really it is how you look at it. Only reason I don't KoS girls is because I'm friendly first no matter what.

Well in real life if someone attack you before and you got right behind them you would notice oh its that douche. In Dayz you sneak up behind someone that killed you before you realise oh hey stranger....

World of warcraft has nothing to do with what I was talking about. WoW you can see it from a mile away. KoSers wouldnt matter, same with ghosters and server hoppers. You have to be in a arms distance to know their name. Same as seeing their face however DayZ has a random respawn as _____ person. One day white, one day, asian, one day white again, one day black, one day black again. etc... etc... et.c...

What is your favorite thing to do in DayZ?

Talk to other playesr and see if they are hostile. One thing I hate those is when you are obviously friendly because you went up to them. Knowing you might have to give them stuff. However the part I hate is then you listen to them then they kill you because you got nothing else they want. Really? I just play for human interaction and those bandits are almost as bad as KoSers... actually that isn't fair KoSers are pretty bad. -
I feel that if you get close enough to a player like hand shaking distance then you should be able to see eachothers names. I bring this up today because I was walking along the coast and ran into a new spawn and he sounded familiar. We both recognized we have met before but not where. Shortly after we were in the kamishovo (however it is spelled, next to elektro) talking in direct. Some KoSing scum came along and just shot us. I think it would help build a sense of community in DayZ. Sure some people might change their names but if you play on a server enough you would be able to tell who some others you run into are once in awhile.
