Damn it, stopped playing for a while, now I can only play for certain periods then my fram rate goes down to single digits. Been doint what others are saying to change frame rate, but it is still happening. Funny thing is my FPS rate starts out at 30 FPS, then after a few minutes of playing I go down to single digits and I just log off. Anybody else experience this?

I would have ran as fast as my legs could take me. Hell I was shot once in Berezino and ran all the way to Vybor. Last time I checked this was just a game, so as long as you had fun then whatever you did was best. As for the desktop warriors here, I like you guys, your the easy kills that gives me great joy to plink. Careful about the firefight some of us are just in it for the hunt and not the loot. Essence of Day Z... broken my leg and crawled for half an hour from the mountains to the nearest hospital. Nobody is going to stop me

Finally, died... was checking the other side of the hospital and a zombie saw me, could only use the SKS. It drew more zombies and I ran out of bangafes. Back to square one.

If you died by crawling down and somebody axed you in the ladder, I might have been the one who killed you.

This is the only game where I felt guilty killing someone. "He could have been someone who I could have befriended." "No no no, he was after your stuff silly." "I could have helped him out, I have the sks out he couldnt do anything" "Fool, you have no friends, nobody likes you..." I dont even scavenge the bodies of the people I've killed. I just move on.

Considering this is an apocalypse, can we have it in game where you can eat other players? Will definitely add a new dimension on how the game is played.

My character is stuck in a room that is not fully loading and I cant respawn. Tried multiple servers ans still I am stuck. Also upon load up it says error cant load headgear

Ok, if you are using a suppressor with subsonic rounds on a pistol or rifle in a none CQB scenario. Your are doing it wrong. Suppressors arent as quiet as one would expect, but yes even without subsonic ammo there is a big difference in sound... people will still hear it though.

Take a hint, the maker of this game/simulation is the same company that makes ARMA and TAKE ON... heavy simulators that are playable. So expect a drive from the creators to get the game to simulate an apocalyptic environment that as realistic yet playable as possible. So stop bitching about: - "The blood and health system being too complicated" - "KOS or Bandits" (well I was in a real disaster last year and guess what, you have your looters who are out to get food, looters who take advantage of the situation, and then just plain bandits who shoot people for their good or rape them) - "Please no vehicles or helicopters" guess what they exist in real life and will be used if disasters happen. Even if you crash them - "weapons malfunctioning or doesnt shoot straight" well in real life not all guns have laser like accuracy And all the other bitching that wants to take away more realism from this game. Next time before you complain think "Will it happen in real life?" If so, then it fits in DayZ. If you want quick health and jumping on a chopper and flying it like a pro... this game isnt for you. The complaints should be more on bugs, better game play, and accuracy to real life.

I do not have experience playing the mod, so I dont know. However, as the game is in Alpha, the designers will be looking at how to cater to most of the crowd. Problem is, most people who enjoy the game an realism never really complain about it, so wont be heard.

First off: - The 5.56 is the most devastating round up to 300 meters compared to the other rounds - Past that would be the .308 - The 7.62x54R is for a wee bit longer range - The various AK rounds have a bit longer punching power but the 5.56 shatters M196 anyway at 2500 to 3000fps, this means an open cavitation inside your body mass, unlike other rounds that punches through. The FPS depends on the barrel length of the 5.56. Your SKS is a semi version of the AK with its inherent flaws of less than stellar accuracy due to the big ass gas chamber attached to the barrel. DMRs in the market: - HK G3 (.308) - M14 (.308) - Philippine Marine Corps M.S.S.R. (5.56) - Dragunov - HK417 Basically, an avvurized rifle that is intended to be used by a marksman for shor to medium range of engagement. The M4 should be realistically be the best all around rifle in the game, due to its versatility. From the differnt rounds avaialble that can match the .308 in distance and penetration.

Maybe they are working on it, it will not be a wonder weapon, just control the recoil so it would be faster for you to work the action and fire. More useful for the AK really as that thing goes full auto. Most use it in the nagant cause in real life its recoil is a bitch.
