Squidraider (DayZ)

Update: Re-reinstalled the game, cleared out the profile settings in Documents, the works. The problem goes away the first time I start the game. Every session after that, it returns.

Howdy! When I hit the 1-9 keys, my game freezes for about 10 seconds and then unfreezes. Anybody got any ideas? I've tried reinstalling the game already. I'm using an Intel i5-4670K, EVGA GTX 670 SC 4GB, 8GB RAM.
