i have pretty much the exact same specs and i don't get any where close to 60-70.... at least not without being in the woods looking at the dirt... but i do get 30-50...which is perfectly....ok....lol

thats tough man... let me ask....do you have any components at all laying around.... or maybe another computer that may be upgradable... im no computer expert by any means but thats a pretty small budget for a pc with the intent specifically to run this game....

I really never understood this....i always though a noob/newb/newbie was just that...someone that is new to the particular game and doesn't know/understand everything about said game yet.....so how is this an insult....everyone is a noob at some point and if you ever want to play a new game your gonna be a noob again....never really got how being new to a game and being called a noob because of it was an insult....honestly i always hated the word noob because i think it sounds stupid.....really really really hate the word pwned....i assume this word was created when someone missed the "o" key and misspelled owned.....both words make people sounds stupid in my opinion...but pwned is simply ridiculous..

i had much the same experience as you until last night....i played on one of the hardcore experimental servers and to my surprise in about 3 hours of game play i had encountered 2 groups of friendlies and a couple friendly loners...at the last i ended up runnin with two random guys that also didn't know each other....we met in berenzino and after the usual exchange of "friendly friendly" we decided to run up and visit the boat and svet before making our way to the airbase....it was probably the most fun i have had playing dayz simply because i had a break from either running alone in the north or dieing from a sniper in the south...

man u just need to keep try to jump out of there...it will eventually let you jump through the wall...i have never been permanatly stuck in anything...you just gotta keep trying...unusual if it takes more than a few minutes

your apparently one of the people that cry about this all the time....dude its a video game...if they wanna come put me in jail for glitching through a wall or duping ammo or some shit like that then so be it....thats just rediculous....also this is an alpha and the whole damn point is to find and exploit exploits....how do you even go from a conversation about exploits in a video game to breaking "government laws"....you can't be serious....

i think we should still be able to build a "base" independently of existing structures....i don't like the whole deal with platforms floating unsupported....i think that should be addressed for sure....but it would be well within reason that a survivor or a organized group of survivors would be able to manage building a free standing structure...it should require a lot of resources and time but doable for sure...also we should be able to barricade existing structures as well.....and yes even the mil loot spots....i imagine if you have taken up residence in a really popular loot location that you would be constantly attacked to the point where it would be tough to finish barricading it....takes a lot of resources and time remember....and be highly probable that your hard work would be destroyed by wave after wave of survivors looking for supplies and weapons...now the problem of people server hopping into your base....that may be a little tricky to solve....probably the idea that you can't spawn into a claimed location would be the only way to fix it but i think that would cause some problems as well...i guess well just have to wait and see how it goes....i think they will work it work it out in a acceptable manner....hope so anyhow....

i see no problem....it may have been a little cowardly but fair play non the less....you took your chances with the log out timer and lived to fight another day....if the game lets you do it and everyone has the same opportunity to do the same i see no problem with it...so tired of everyone crying about people logging or using exploits, etc....reminds me of a bunch of 5 year olds trying to play a game with a bunch of made up rules that no one follows...they scream thats not the way the devs intended the game to be played....well they need to fix it so people can't play that way....that is their job after all....and im sure in time they will fix what they want to fix....after all like is said so many times.....this is an alpha....they way i see it its almost your responsibility to find and exploit the exploits....and ill be damned if im gonna put myself at a disadvantage just because you tell me thats not the right way to play the game...when no one can do it i wont be able to either and their problem will be solved....until then people really need to stop whining about it....you find an exploit....report it if its not known....and exploit it as you please

the lack of a way to tell what mode of fire you have selected is in my opinion a huge problem.....they only way you can know is pull the trigger....and a lot/most of the time that isn't a smart thing to do....at the very least i should be able to look at the actual gun somehow and see what the switch is on.....this really really really bothers me....lol

I really don't understand all the flaming on this guy..... I was under the assumption this is a sandbox game.... meaning you basically play how ever you want.... meaning there is no wrong way to do things.... as far as the whole team speak issue.... there is no stopping it so why bitch about it.... and on a side not i think its funny when people bitch about exploits.... if the game will allow me to do it then its fair play.... if you don't want to take every advantage available to you that's fine.... jesus the people that play this game are the biggest bunch of babies i have ever encountered.... man the fuck up you bunch of pansies....

personally i really hope they put in some sort of player construction...as in building structures and or fortifying existing structures...i think it would be fun....teaming up with a group to gather resources to build a base and then defending it to the death...that and vehicles will make this game much more fun....seems like i read something about underground construction somewhere...that would be pretty cool as well...also would be cool if you can make a underground structure and then build a above ground base on top of it....maybe make a second entrance/exit for the underground bunker for an emergency escape route....things like that would kick all sorts of ass....

i would call "vanilla" the current version of the game with no mods installed....so yea......

- Weapons: Sawed-off shotgun: reduced size in inventory, reduced spread so sawing off a shotgun barrel reduces the spread.....??....this is wrong... or is it just reduced from what it was in the previous patch....

100% this....as soon as i seen there wasn't slugs anymore i was no longer excited about the shot gun....

I had heard about this game for awhile. Being a zombie fan i immediately wanted it. I decided to wait for the SA, which i got a few days after it was released. On the first day, during my first encounter with other players, i knew.......I LOVE THIS GAME......what follows was literally within my first hour or two of playing and still the most hilarious thing i have experienced yet.... so after being KOSed for the 3-4 time i respawn on the coast. its been awhile now so i don't recall exactly where i spawned but i believe it was kamyshovo. i proceed to search the local houses and shops looking for anything that may help me live a little longer. after finding some food in a pub and a screwdriver to open it with i decide to go drink my fill at the local well. little did i know there was a surprise waiting for me there. as i ran up to the well and started to drink, i just happen to see some movement and noticed a group of 4 players running toward me from the woods on the other side of the tracks. all three looked to be armed to the teeth, carrying m4's. this was normal far for me by this time as i had been shot dead by many people with the same equipment. although there was something different about this group. i think it was the fact that none of them were wearing any pants. before i even have a chance to try to talk to them they order me to put my hands up. at which point they handcuff me and their "leader" begins talking to me. his voice is obviously goin through some kind of voice altering program making it sound really creepy and weird. i can't understand anything he is saying. it sounds like something you would hear in a horror movie when a daemon starts talking some kind of evil satanic language. as im trying to understand whats goin on and what the leader of this pack is saying i notice they have started to strip me of all my meager possessions. they take everything but my pants, and replace my can of sardines and screwdriver with a stone and a bible. its at this point i notice the text chat they are pumping out. its going by so fast its hard to keep up with what its saying. at the time all i could figure is that i was either being baptized by some kind of satanic church or im being initiated into some kind of pantsless psycho cult at this point i am dying laughing over VoiP as i struggle to free myself from my restraints. after maybe 2-3 minutes of this crazy satanic baptism the leader walks closer. still being really new to the game i didn't know what the bottle of disinfectant was for. i found out shortly after that and my faint was clear. after they force feed me a whole bottle of disinfectant i was put down with a single shot to the head. i was laughing so hard i was crying.

that utility talks specifically about intel cpu's....i have a AMD FX-8320....is it relevant to AMD as well

freaking love that game man...played it forever...still do from time to time...

there are some always day servers...also many that are on a different time schedule...honestly i only log in in the evening and i never have a problem finding a day server...

your GPU looks like the weakest link to me...then again im far from a computer expert....it looks as if it only has 5125MB of memory...i think the minimum requirment is 1GB....
