All vehicles saves are limited to the server you found them in. Simply "Save [the] Vehicle" and it will "most likely" be there when you return. Disembarking the vehicle itself automatically saves it, along with repairs/damage.

Typically normal. Just look around and notice any landmarks that you can reference with your map. Land marks can be almost anything, roads (types), elevation (hill/mountains), forests, towns etc. Also, every time you log on, the bottom right hand corner will state the nearest city/settlement for a brief moment. If the mentioned tips above are still too difficult, I suggest you find a server running Recruit Difficulty.
