  1. Made a thread about this in general http://dayzmod.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=27127 What do you guys think? Noone has replied to it so i guess ppl don't care that much, or it might be a terribad idea ^^ Btw, Yeah i understand its a pain and nearly impossible to ban someone with the current logs, was what i expected :P
  2. How about making a few logs for the server admins to check if someone reports an exploit? Having an event when a player faints would make it easy to spot if someone DCed while dying. A player could just send a PM or a message to the server admin with a time and the admin would be able to see the player who disconnected. TL: DR Exampel! Send to server admin -"Shot a guy at 20:35, he despawned when i had hit him" Server "DC log": [Player X incapacitated at 20:35:02] [Player X disconnected at 20:35:03] = Ban or [Player X incapacitated at 20:35:02] [Player X died at 20:35:03] [Player X disconnected at 20:35:04] = Not ban as the player died before DC (will prevent ban from quick ragequits) Si?
  3. Possible to report ppl who DC? Havent got any hard evidence :/, i hope its possible to see somekind of events in a log perhaps? Outside stary sobor: Found a sniper taking shots towards Stary, Placed a FAL round in his / her head (female model), he passed out and ½ a second later DCed. was at 19:58 gmt+1 07-03 (If you can check some log perhaps?) Haven't got a name as you can't see those messages anymore.

    No more global chat?

    I'm finding the game to be alot more dull w/o sidechat :/ Its almost like playing a SP/COOP 2man game, You don't build any community on the servers even if there are the same guys playing on it. Say i found a guy i liked to play with, how am i supposed to do it again? I would then need a 3rd party program to keep in touch with him instead of just going "Meet me at X". I think not having the sidechat just takes away from the game, I don't care if someone spam "Friendly in cherno" I just find it fun and gives alot more depth that stuff is going on outside of your little bubble.

    Stuff not spawning?

    We just tryed jumping off like 500-1000meters away, now the zombies dosn't seem to spawn at all sometimes? :huh: Seems like hangars and some buildings spawn, but not the firestation or barracks. Latest atempt I jumpted out about 500m away, zombies spawned close around us, i got to the barrack and no zombies where spawned there (they spawned fine further back :huh: So confused.

  7. Me and a friend just drove with oure car to the NW airfield and blitzed into the north barrack, but there was nothing spawned inside?? Not even tincans. We then headed to the south barrack and the same thing. This has also happend when we tryed to do a driveby looting a supermarket. Sometimes the loot spawns if we wait for a while but at the airfield it did not. Is this a bug or are we doing something wrong? :huh:

    Add an "Alpha banner"

    There are so many ppl crying on the forums expecting a final game, maybe we should help them out understanding what an Alpha is? I don't want to see more "X Sucks! Im quiting the game!"-Threads What if you just printed something like: "THIS IS AN ALPHA VERSION, FEATURES ARE NOT FINAL AND BUGS _WILL_ BE THERE. ALPHA IS MEANT FOR TESTING." when you join a game? Easy fix and with abit of luck maybe a few less threads :heart:

  11. What will prevent ppl from just going "Stay there, Let me check your heartbeat" ? I beleve it will just be a test everyone will do when they meet someone. If loud heartbeat -> Kill If !loud heartbeat -> Team
  12. NO If someone is standing within "heartbeat range" chances are he wont kill you anyway. (Whats the point in standing 5m from your victim?) It would totaly suck if you decide to team-up with someone just to get shot because they heard your heart :huh: What will happen is ppl will just go. "Stay there, Let me check your heartbeat" and thats retarded.
