Yha, because as soon as u get in troubled you Combat logg, that is really a sign of true skill showing who can "surviving as long as he can" Im sure that you are one of them who combat loggs as soon as u can... Whatever I say that makes it harder for the combat loggers, you do all you can so the combat logging can continue.

Why dont you actually read what I wrote ? I have not set my MB4 to "alt" It works fine to have MB4 as push to talk in any of the other hundred games I play and using VOIP programs at the same time, without problem. Even tried doing TAB+MB4 in other programs and nothing happens.

When I press TAB, and after that I press Mouse button 4 (or MB2) = It tabs me out to windows Info that might be related. Windows 7, 64bit Mouse: Razer Mamba Im not sure if it is some kind of related to the game itself, or in Windows 7. But I cant find any reason why it kicks me to windows. And as I wrote, I press TAB, and then I remove my finger from TAB, and then hit MB4.... just want to clarify that Im not holding TAB while I press MB4 The reason I press mouse button 4 is because thats my "Push to talk" in Mumble, Ventrilo, TeamSPeak, Dolby Axon...yha... all different voice communication programs. And the reason why I use 3rd party voice communication programs is because my microphone appears not to work in game, so have to fall back on 3rd party VOIP to talk with friends, otherwise it would be rather boring fast... So if anyone have any clue why I get tabbed out to windows, please enlighten me. And if anyone have any clue why the mic dont work for me in game, then gladly reply to that to, but in the other thread. Edit: This only seem to happen when I have the inventory open. So lets say I close the inventory with "TAB" and then press MB4 or MB2 then it does NOT kick me to windows. So Im guessing it is not a windows short command it is something related to the Inventory and the game.

Having patient in a game like this is rather normal. So if he combat loggs, and you just sit and wait for him. Then you will get him when he gets back. Atm you cant do that, because anyone that combat loggs, just goes to another server and moves, and he gets the upper hand. With this change he wont get the upper hand. Because he will come back at the exact same spot as he logged out. Im not claiming this to be the ultimate solution to all problems, but it is a huge leap in the right direction. Okami --- Im new to the game, so dint know that was the name for it.

Why not do the following. Have one character per server, that way you cant "Stack gear" on one character, because you can only have 1 char per server = not tradable. Why not simply change how character works. You have one character per server. Also it would be needed that in the server list there would be information what servers you have characters on, and maybe later down the line you can even peek on the chars so they display what gear you have, without logging in on that server. That way, sure you can jump to another server, but you will be given a new character and starting at starting area - So no reason to server hopping any more. Would prob also make combat logging so nice option either. Sure it still would work, but not as attractive option as before. So one step in the right direction. Also having more "regular" servers that you play on, would make roleplaying more fun, since you would meet the same persons more often, instead of jumping around from server to server will just make killing random strangers more likely, but if you are on a server, and u have your clan or whatever there, you can start doing some respect, clan wars, and other stuff on that server. Pro - Cons? Im gladly listen to feedback, from this suggestion.

Since my microphone works 100% perfectly in every other program I'm using, I'm sure it is not any settings on the microphone. But it is something in DayZ that blocks my microphone to work in the game.

Oki yesterday I found this post, a way to improve the FPS in the game by changing the mode to Windows XP, SP3 http://www.reddit.com/r/dayz/comments/1vscq7/how_to_get_more_fps_dayz_standalone/ But once I do that, my streaming program (OBS) cant do "Game Capture" any more, because it simply cant find the window any more.

Model ? The model is a "Yeti" and the company that makes it is called "Blue" it is not a "Yeti Pro" I have never had any problems with the mic, so Im sure the problem is actually a game related problem, and not a mic problem.

Using a "Blue Yeti" microphone. Windows 7 - 64bit Microphone works on TS3, Mumble, in windows,Dolby Axon, when Im streaming in OBS.... and so on. So it is plugged in and working. Microphone is set to Default Device Image on settings ==> Ingame I have atm CTRL as talk button, when I press it I see the black mic icon ingame and see "Direct Communication", I talk but noone can hear me. Anyone know why its not working ?
