Why do I keep slowing down or stopping suddenly?

Actually, this did happen to me last night. At first I thought it was something to do with the fact I was "Soaked" and starting to get cold as I was running. But I was able to start sprinting again right after it happened, so it didn't seem like an effect. -
The OP asked if players were invulnerable in trucks. A Mosin to the head for a kill proves players can be killed in the truck.

So you've had the game open for 86 hours but have played even less than that? Steam tracks every minute you have SA open, since it's the only way to play. You're just digging yourself a deeper hole here... Just an observation.

Bullet velocity? That's what makes a moving target hard to time at long distance. Bullet drop is easy to manage.

That video doesn't show anything... My guess is it's because the gun "lags" behind the camera when you turn. The bigger the gun the greater the lag. You're probably seeing the gun catching up? This shouldn't be an issue when you're fine tuning your aim at a target.

This happened to me walking over a branch in the swamp near Riffy, kept bouncing up and down and I was really unable to do anything about it. I was able to get out when a friend pushed me out by running into me a few times. Thank goodness for character collision. -
Alpha! New game system, it's got to be tested. Even when it has effects, needs to be frequent so bugs show their ugly faces.

This game is clunky enough as is. Firing a gun should not be like riding a mechanical bull, you should be able to at least consistently create a grouping of bullets at range. We already have gun sway from running and being winded, which makes sense, but excessive handicaps to guns just doesn't make sense, which is why no other shooter has gone that route. It would make the game more frustrating and less enjoyable for most people, and thus they would stop playing. This is not the goal of developers. EDIT: I am not supporting that guns are currently broken, but I am saying we don't need further handicaps.

I would like to see the shotgun capable of being equipped to melee back slot. Since it's only good at very close range, and could make sense replacing a melee weapon. Weapon bag sounds like a cool idea. Would be cool if it had hand straps, like a duffle bag, so you can carry it in your hands (without replacing backpack). Could be useful for gathering some extra guns to stash somewhere once persistent storage is a thing. -

I like the new zombies. They make you play smarter in bigger towns/cities, and make the axe useful even after you have a gun and ammo. IMO, game is a lot more fun now. EDIT: Could do with like a 5-10 min cooldown on respawn... it can be quite difficult to move through a heavy zombie area when they just keep popping up in front and behind you. -

Chapaevsk has a nice cluster of garage buildings on the northern edge, nice loot spawns there. -
Shadowplay works for me. I have it set to always record the last 15 minutes. And yes, I have hit invisible dirt walls before. Usually happens when trying to shoot downhill, especially when prone.

Please, no! It's a zombie apocalypse, guns are fun. If anything, MORE guns! ESO comes out soon for those of you that don't like guns. You can do all the melee you want in that game.

Lies. My 3 week old PC tears through cities like it ain't no thing... on maximum settings (1920x1080). Sure it dips lower than when not in a city, but it's still 40+ FPS, and I'm always running ShadowPlay. There is a problem (was evident on old PC), but to say even the best rigs have issues is ignorant. Intel i7-4770K @ 4.1GHz, Gigabyte GTX 780 OC Rev.2, Asus Maximus VI Hero, Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 16GB DDR3 1600MHz C8, Samsung 840 Pro SSD, Windows 8.1 Enterprise -
And turning head bob all the way down in the gameplay settings is very helpful for first person!

I started playing only on Regular servers with 3PP. I think it helps a lot when trying to learn and understand the unique/frustrating Arma/DayZ control scheme, and just how your character responds to these controls. Now that I have a really good understanding of controls and map, I play exclusively on hardcore. I have also noticed this trend... Also, 3PP makes for much nicer Selfies ;p
