I'm shit at DayZ, I'm pretty shit at most games, pretty badass on Football Manager though. Logging in with over a quarter of the server under your control, standing around waiting for people willing to submit to you ain't gonna be as fun as you think. At least give a general starting point for the bandits, North part of the map etc.

I too have this problem. It sucks. Have you played about with draw distances in the files? I did and thats when I noticed this happening, so I changed em back to original values and the problem is still there.

Post the server info and time now, do the town naming closer to the day (or even lie about which town publicly), seems pretty pointless and a real non event if a well oiled group are shooting the shit out of those that have no idea what they are really up against. Sounds more like bullying a town into submission than a fun night of winning a town, to be honest.

I love a good fisticuffs by the coast, watching it again with the sound turned off was much better though!

No one doubts hackers are in game, it's an online game... you will always have them. Never experienced or heard any of my friends who play experiencing hackers. Strikes me as odd that nearly everyone who opens a thread about the issue has been victim multiple times.

If the guys you are running with have to be heard by the streamers through Direct Communication then you are doing something wrong. Unless of course you happened to pick up strangers in game. But your relationship seems more than that.

We don't have anti-hopping in the game. We have a timer to stop people ghosting. The game isn't even out yet. Put it down for a year and come back to it when it's released. If it's still shit by then, wow, you wasted £20 on it a year ago. No biggie, we've bought plenty of games for twice the money and played em a quarter of the time.
