I tried to be a hero last night... failed, pretty hard. Ran into the Power Station at Elektro to be greeted by M4 fire and 2 freshies running round like mad heads yelling about some 'M4 Guy on the hill'. I thought it was my time to shine, my time to be forever remembered in these players minds. So, in my best hero voice I yell, 'Don't worry, I will save you'. Only to end up getting spooked and shooting the shit out of everyone. In my defence, I was confused and pumped up on adrenalin. So, to the Fresh Spawn who looted my knocked out mate, sorry bro, I had no idea you had armed yourself. Also, Mr Green Taloon backpack Man, I didn't realise you had come to our assistance. My bad. Mr White T-Shirt Fresh Spawn, I was panicking and scared, there was really no reason to gun you down. Sorry. If it's any consolation to you guys, after my killing spree I climbed the smoke tower only to fall to my death and got a Berezino respawn.

How naive... people have been demanding zombies are shown some attention. They sort out a quick fix to the problem and people just complained about the new stuff. Same as would happen for this 'issue'.

What this really comes down to, is people crying because they lose their characters more often on 3PP servers and rather than accepting the Golden Rule of DayZ, they would rather spoil a vast majority of players experience. Most don't actually see it as broken, most don't believe it is cheating either. There is over 1.7 million players, yet 1PP servers are dead. That says a lot of things to me. As I've said in many threads of this issue, I'd be totally ok if they took away my 'Magical Eye'. The only issue here for a lot of the predominantly 3PP players is the popping in and out of view and how you could get that to work so it looks and feels right.

They are just lonely people, they are hoping that if they whine loud enough and long enough more people will play with them.

That is a lie, I have had em spawn right in front of me on numerous occasions.

Ah, you are one of them guys... it all starts to make sense now. Surely playing only in 1PP in a 3PP server, with all the cheating and the glitches and the expoliting, is the measure of a real hardcore player.

Helicopters, planes and even cars at times, are nothing more than another way for me to die.

What irks me is that even if you kill one of the buggers, his mate spawns in 5m away from you. Oh, that and the fact the one 50m away gives not a single fuck to your presence, yet the one thats 200m away ends up chasing you all over the map. Not to mention the fear of now logging out 'did I lose that zombie, have I aggro'd another one' and the fear of logging in only to find a gang of em slapping you like you would a ginger step-child. Even in the safety of the middle of a forest. Apart from that they are still the same non-entity they have always been.

The 1PP kiddies still crying... they have no shame. As stated before, those of you who cry about being killed in 3PP servers are too small a minority for BI to bother with. Face it, most players don't care and while the majority are of that mindset, BI won't bother spending more money trying to keep all you 1PP crutch players happy.

How am I making up reason to keep it? I've stated over and over again, in many threads, take 3PP's magic eye away and I will still use 3PP. Some of you 1PP guys are some of the most butthurt, whiny, fuckers I have ever met. No wonder no one wants to play in 'hardcore' servers...

When did I state I like it? It's been like this since 3PP games have been around. The industry see's nothing wrong with it and are not likely to change it anytime soon. So why get worked up about it?

It's Just A Fucking Ladder

It's not a problem, pretty much every 3PP enabled game has this 'feature' No, I think and I've been told my many 1PP players that they use 1PP because they enjoy that view over 3PP. Just as most 3PPers don't hate 1PP, they just prefer 3PP. Those of you that hate are too few in number for Bohemia to care about. The state of 1PP only servers are testament to that.

As was noted a long time ago, the only people who care about this are 1PP players, many who wouldn't use 3PP even if they fixed it's 'problem'. Which tells me, the vast majority of players prefer having both views at their disposal.
