no, much like using a real map you need to pinpoint a landmark. Clouds move east to west, if you are heading into the sun, you are heading in a southern direction. Bitch don't need no compass now dawg... -

because in the mod loot respawned, in standalone it does not (at the moment, and fuck having guns near the coast anyway, just asking for grief). yes there is a map function, you just have to find the map pieces or use the dayzdb map. -

I ran into the school. thought i was safe, the screen goes black and the dreaded words, 'you are dead' appear on my screen. I tell my mate to be careful there's a guy about who just killed me. He creeps like fuck up to the room i was in and it turns out it was a zombie... didn't even see it or hear it on my screen!
