man, it's this mindset that's gonna kill any interest people have in getting this game. just because YOU have played the shit out of this game doesnt mean you have the end-all opinion on anything, especially if entails chasing new players away because us playing it are all raving douchebags to anyone who "thinks the game is too hard"

don't worry about it, a good chunk of people playing this are major league dickbags and seem completely content with it. if you really enjoy the game you learn to deal lol

usually once I'm geared up I get killed while trying to make friends. People tend to ask if I'm friendly then shoot as soon as I say yes..... #loldayzwhyiseveryonesuchapsychoasshole

oh ok, ill check it out. from what i can tell most of the servers have a US state abbreviation (tx, ks, etc) so i was under the impression there was a setting or something lol thanks!

how does one change from US servers to UK servers or otherwise?

i think they should do something like GTA5 online, where if you act like a dickbag for too long then you become a "dirty player" and only match with other "dirty" people. not sure how it would work though tbh. just a nice thought

yea i got killed yesterday trying to meet a freshspawned friend in berezino.... assholes rolled up and killed me, calling me bandit this and asshole that.... it's getting progressively harder to NOT just KoS lately as i only have good encounters when I'm unarmed. as soon as i get a weapon the first person i run into loads me full of bullets while im trying to talk to them

shit man, sounds awesome! i don't get in too many firefights so I don't have as much experience with the pvp aspect, but I look forward to leveling up to your CQC skills (most likely through many more learning experiences ie deaths)

i only KoS at airfields.... everywhere else I would much rather engage in conversation to establish intentions before acting. If you catch me at the airfield though.... you're gonna meet a few friends of mine at 1000fps

i tend to play as someone who is allergic to bullets, really makes things interesting when people offer me bullets at varying velocities. Also, for added difficulty I sometimes will RP a person who is mysteriously magnetized, thus making bullets more likely to find me and bother my allergy.

me and my group got a portable stove and put the gas on it, then turned it on and stared at it on the ground for a moment. it was kind of almost a bonding moment except no one learned anything.

inb4 reading that OP is butthurt...... no I kid, I kid. seriously though, the only place i wont take ANY chances is an airfield. I love meeting randos while exploring and prefer to talk before shooting, but people are out for blood (and loot) if theyre at any airfield. That said, what I love about this game is that every time I die I know it's cause I messed up (or server reset me lulz). Every death is a learning experience here in Chernwhateverthefuckrussianland. Perfect example, last night me and a buddy were gunned down, our 3rd barely escaped, cause we tried to make contact with a 4person group that didn't respond to any voice comm.... they followed us outta electro and flanked us. I had a shot on the scout they sent but I didn't think he saw me... I was wrong haha lesson learned, amiright? It's easier to just shoot everyone, but it takes actual skill to be able to talk to strangers and make nice or atleast figure out their intentions before lighting them up with lead. I've found that watching streams has shown me a lot of situations that I haven't encountered personally yet. good luck

i revenge killed a guy who KoS'ed a buddy. normal stuff other than his shirt was full of rotten fruit... weird shit man. In my head i decided he was some kind of demented torturer, force feeding spoiled kiwi to well meaning passers by. in all likelihood, he was probs just some trigger-happy douche... but I like my story better.

i thought the "V" key was the dance button. Additionally, I thought my white guy just didn't know how to do it right.
