Hi I'd like to use this topic to post my feedback on the Dev stream, I didn't have time to watch the whole stream so this is based on the overview here To comment on OP's points I agree with the following; There was no sign of the characters being tired after running - Where is the recoil? Time amounts to do stuff - My observations from the stream: This looks great, I think the ideas mentioned in the status reports have been implemented very nicely and that 0.63 will be the patch that will bring me back to playing more! I feel the fill bottle animation @6:06 is not yet optimized, it looks outdated compared to the other animations; the character should hold his bottle under the tap and move the crank, visible water should pour into the bottle. The melee combat @8:40 looks a bit hit and miss, It would be nice if the was an ability to keep guiding the character during the swing; currently it looks like an fixed animation in an fixed direction is used when a punch is initiated. Eugen looks like a focused guy! PS. If any of the Devs read this could you please share your thoughts on the mentioned points. -
I think the debug zone is immersion breaking, cant we make cherno an Island?

Hi. I just saw a good video of FTLol https://youtu.be/PnjAt42Oazc?t=2m17s and again noticed people running into the debug zone. Imo this gives the feeling the world ends and software code stops. It gives me a bit of a buggy feeling, like something unfinished (maybe thats why its called debug). Also It enables players to driver their cars easily around the edge of the map and circumvent all roads and features the devs put hard work in. Because this is possible people will do it because it gives an advantage (easy looting). I feel this shouldn't be possible/allowed. All this together gives me the Idea this is something that needs fixing. What do you think, should cherno be an Island, walled with mountains or do you have another idea to get rid of the debug zone. Do you like the debug zone? Why? -
Hey, just read part of the status report and wanted to share what I think about the holding breath mecanic. Its pretty impressive, way more complicated and dynamic than I anticipated. Really good to see so much going on behind the scene. Also, good status report overall!! massive improvement. On the tired status I feel you should be able to get more tired then now. Maybe to have aim be totally out of whack (and many other disabling effects) when you get extrememely tired, also I feel atm you get tired too fast. Did you do IRL tests to calibrate this. I feel I could run furter and be reasonably/more accurate than I am in dayz. Please note I have terrible stamina irl. The "random" crosshair movement atm is to predictable, the pattern is the same everytime and people are exploiting that. What would you think about RL testing such things as stamina? Except for having to run yourself :P ps. do attachments like stocks and bipods drastically reduce weapon sway atm?

I like it the way it is now. Maybe even better would be to have no zoom at all. Makes the controls more simple..

Hi, Ive been noticing your server Apocalypse Now at ip: 62.210.177.22:1602 hasnt been running well lately. When performing an action it takes over 5 seconds before I get the message its completed. Can you please inform your GSP to have them update the box or have whatever is causing these delays fixed because its borderline unplayable for me now.

Same problem here, made a post in the feedback tracker about it: http://feedback.dayzgame.com/view.php?id=18343#bugnotes I feel everybody has this but doesn't notice it as much because they have a lot of gpu overhead. If someone with a newer card could make a comparison of gpu usage during rain we could confirm this. Its most definitely a bigger gpu load then expectable for such visual effects. It seems like its a bug that might be fixed with the renderer replacement but it could also just be a video setting I need to turn off. Ive tried a bunch of them without success, maybe anybody has got a clue?

A couple of things I noticed that are not working even though they are in the change log: painting axes, also no colored axes found yetcant wiggle out of handcuffs anymore (maybe it was my fault, correct me if im wrong)magazine still not visible in hand during reloadingwater bottle still dissapearing when force feeding (please check all items when fixing a bug guys, not just the canteen)machete still sucks ass, should kill a zombie in 2 hits i thinkitem inventory is still laggyitems still dissapearing when dropping inside buildingsJust wanted to get this out of my system, do with it as you please.- 2645 replies

I NOTICED YOU CAN ALSO USE RIGHT CLICK TO CHECK CONTENT OF CONTAINERS NOW. I hope they squash those bugs quickly and pump in alle these little loot fixes they have done earlier, I feel this patch is a little skinny atm. -

\ You are absolutely right. I think they should optimize the HDR to also adjust for night time just like real eyes. Okay there are nights without moon which are completely black but most of the time the game should be pretty playable. Also it would be awesome if the HDR would blind you temporarily if for example somebody would suddenly shine an high powered light in your night adjusted eyes. -

Very interesting progress on the medical part of dayz. Would definitely be awesome if you could revive someone without a pulse (freshly dead) by performing cpr for a minute or so, this would add a lot to the weight of murdering/saving someone. Off course cpr should only have a very small chance of success if someone is severely wounded. Having to perform cpr on your friend, having to get a defib, bandaging and all would be very immersing. I just had a first aid course and it would be very cool if that knowledge actually contributes to saving someone in dayz. Realism all the way for me. ps I feel all these medical actions should have their own animations, dayz needs a lot more animations, also I think you should be able to see that someones leg is broken (possibly with a kink in it?). -

I do think the eating animation should take 4 times as long if you use the eat all feature (maybe with an interrupt function). It should still be so that you have to make shure you are in a safe place etc.. when you want to eat something. -

Why cant they just let them rabbits make random gunshot sounds. That way it would be even more exiting and even heart attack inducing. -
Earplugs would be awesome. For instance you go deaf for a minute if you shoot your high powered rifle if while not wearing them. Would be one more thing to keep people from sniping others with no reason.

The only thing I want is realistic accuracy. Exactly the same as in RL. Im not a ballistics engineer/soldier so I dont know what it should be like so I trust in the bohemia developers to put the most realistic data (like in their military simulators) into Dayz as well. Every kind of human incompetence in shooting should be represented by weapon sway. I can only hope this will also be affected by grips, health, stamina etcetera.
