Have you checked your event viewer, there should be an application error event for dayz.exe, it should give you a code regarding the crash. Put that into the feedback tracker

If you like the hunt for food then dont get a large backpack and stuff with food, travel light and feed on the move. The other day I searched for paper, when I got enough, left a mosin with a note "For the rounds....." and left hints to where they were. When they got there another note for the bipod, then another for scope. The player stuck with it, took him about 1:15 mins, maybe he/she could have found them quicker by themselves but they seemed to go along with it. Not having a pop just suggesting that you make the content.

Stalker. I like to see how close I can get to others without being spotted. Sometimes if they are attacked will help them out, just get in and out and disappear once more. So with that in mind the possibility of smaller sized chars, maybe limit the amount I can carry, forced to wearing smaller backpacks, cant run as fast due to smaller gait, my effectiveness with larger weapons etc.. to compensate for being harder to hit/see. If I want to be a man mountain and lug loads of gear around with me that's a choice I'd have to make.

Not sure how your getting the 5 minute timer though, unless your crashing as soon as you enter the server but your last post seems to imply you dont. If you have to reload the game although you say 20 seconds reckon it must be a little longer than that so that would also eat into the 5min timer.

There's enough room already, infact too much. How much do you want to carry. Personally I use the school pack back that lower profile suits me fine and keeps me on the move for food and such. Unless you want to be mobile supermarket dont see the point to be honest. you dont have to go into inv to reload, just hit "R" or "F" to reload. If you only got one, just have 2 shells chambered and keep snaploader in backpack ready for a quick reload edit: make sure the snaploader has shells attached to it also, once you load with it they need refilling.

Double tap "T" to change fire mode and it will fire both barrels at once when you shoot. OSKO for sure.

Just saw it off, even if primary. When its in backpack it doesn't look like your armed. Can get the drop on stick up bandits if played out correctly. I stick my axe in backback sometimes for same reason

Went inland all the way to Vybor from Berezino and found nothing, 4 times just died of hunger. The OP has a point about loot respawn It's hard to test stuff when you just die of hunger all the time. That said met a kindly gent in Gorka, thanks for the cereal dude, finally found some other gear and bumped into 4 guys at NWAF, died from the last two of them, first one sorry man but had KoS all about survival on Experimental, but it was so much more intense due to gearing up, so much harder and hell of a rush. So OP stick with it man it's true survival out there on Exp' so intense or get lucky on sever respawn but be quick its like a feeding frenzy. The ones that find all this easy gear most probably get up in the middle of the night so they can say it's easy man blah blah blah..

The best way to find something in DayZ is to not be looking for it. May seem counter intuitive but everytime I set out to find something in particular I never find it but I always seem to find the last thing that I set out to find in abundance. Also same as whats above ATC, hangars etc etc

Teleport hacker in Kamyshovo, asian chick with red t-shirt. She/He was prone on ground and not attacking just porting everywhere I went. Definitely not de-sync or rubber banding as they were prone and I was full on sprinting and running around like a headless chicken to try and shake them. Kept making the high-pitched whiny voice noise of please be my fwend, aww go on I wuv you...and laughing maniacally, seemed to be having a great time. Needless to say knocked them out and bandaged them up to get the name, once they realised I got the name they made a very sharp exit.
