Hey everyone, I'm new to dayz, been playing for a few days now. So far I've come to the hilarious yet depressing conclusion that everybody in this game is an a**hole. Everybody just wants to kill everybody. However, this doesn't seem to aid one in staying alive at all. SO, my question is: Are their any individuals who would like to partner up during gameplay and take on the zombie apocalypse together? If you're interested my Steam ID is 'norounds' .

I've lost my character / all of his loot on the past 4 or 5 characters I've made without them dying. The game will either crash and when I rejoin I have a completely new character or I'll just exit the game but when I rejoin I will lose my previous character (the crash and character loss is more common though). Anyone else experiencing this? It's a pain in the ass...I just FINALLY found my first pistol and my game crashed within 5 minutes and I lost my character. lol alpha

Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with game play regarding controls and hotkeys. My 3rd person doesn't seem to work, it's only worked once. I have toggle view set to 'enter' and even change game perspective to 3rd person but nothing works. I'm always stuck in first person which is irritating. My toggle run/walk keeps me in a walking position unless I'm sprinting with 'turbo'..the default run just doesn't work. Wondering if anyone has a certain configuration for keys that is working well for them because right now I can't seem to get anything to work. I understand this game is ALPHA but I don't want to play it in first person view or without running...
