    Servers are still jacked up for me. I only search for hardcore servers under 100 ping. I will usually get about 30-40? hits usually. Of all these there are only about 10 or so that might have people playing on them. I have found ONE hardcore server that saves my character and its a Gameserver server which I see many people claim doesn't save, lol. Cant believe its been this long and all this shit is still jacked up...

    Most of the servers Ill try to play on don't save my character. Been like this since the patch. The issue is still ongoing for me. Anyone else?

    They arent even allowed to change the number of players. All servers are to have 40 player max. I am also getting pissed off at all these 30 man hardcore servers.

    Its been a BIS issue from the start. I see people who claim gameservers hosted servers are not working. Yet for me, gameservers servers are the only ones that WILL save my shit lol.

    The only server i can connect to...make a change (move items around in inventory, run 20m and save) that will save my character is a GAMESERVER hosted server. I also have my toon from a few days ago that is geared on a gameserver hosted server. I have yet to log onto any other server and have it save my character upon exiting. ANytime I log on as a new spawn I NEVER save, ever. In my experience, that list on the first post needs to be about 100000 times longer cos this whole server thing is absolutely FUBAR for me right now.

    PRONE stopped working

    So im playing dayz, several hours into a session and all of a sudden my prone stops working. I cant go prone any longer. It is still bound to Z in the menu. I have also tried binding it to other keys and it still does not work. Ive restarted the game, tried new servers, restarted PC, verified cache..everything I can think of and no matter what key I assign prone to it will not work in game. Anyone have any suggestions or seen this before? Its an essential mechanic of the game that I need to get working. Thanks.

    Since Im unable to log off a server and have my character be saved...its pretty shitty in my book at this time.

    im not making a bug report. i dont have time for that shit. Im just here to tell you....THAT EVERY SINGLE TIME I LOG OUT....I AM A NEWSPAWN WHEN I LOG BACK ONTO A SERVER. If I get d/c'd, or the server restarts, or if i just leave a server and join a different or same one...doesnt matter...my toon is NEVER saved. Guess I wont bother playing till they address this. OH and I almost forgot..sometimes I log into a fully geared, LOOT GOBLIN character that DIED about a WEEK AGO.....lol..serious issues here.

    As long as gamma continues to work I'll continue to use it. Only for the fact that if Im being forced to play at night due to no day servers available I am NOT going to play at a disadvantage to people who are using it (and most people ARE). Plain and simple. Playing without gamma at night is like role playing a guy who doesnt use weapons on a day server. Why would you do that unless you enjoy being owned over and over and over and over again?? FIX gamma exploits and I'll play legit and "even steven" with everyone else. Till then, Ill stick to day servers.

    If the OP had stuck to the points that 3PP allows unrealistic situational awareness vs 1PP which forces you to expose yourself to see someone (with obstructed, realistic backpack view when looking over shoulder) as opposed to name-calling this thread would have progressed much smoother lol. There is no arguing that 1PP is more immersive and promotes increased, realistic combat situations. As of now though, more people prefer to NOT have that for whatever reason.
