would like to see natural caves or sewer systems explorable
merlointhesky replied to bdm634's topic in Suggestions
I agree, would be interesting to have "undergrounds" to explore as well, like cellars (with food?), prisons, storage rooms, maybe even labs where zombies came from?? (if this was created in a lab ofc!) It would also add to the fact of feeling "trapped" if someone is heard coming in from the only exit :p -
Less Military. More Apocalyptic. (Clothing)

one thing I noticed is that all of the clothes we find so far are man clothing. I think the ladies should get something too, not just a girly version of the same stuff. Not sure how long has been since the outbreak of zombies, but we already find some "normal" clothes around, why not a skirt? or a dress? Plus you could ridicule people by forcing them to wear a skirt and bra? Or having to wear girl clothing because you have found nothing better. -
I hope they are going to introduce traps sooner or later, so that we can start using ropes and maybe even other tools (diggin' a hole with a spade and such)

What DayZ also needs to be even more realistic?
merlointhesky replied to Otis.Driftwood's topic in Suggestions
I wonder if anyone ever thought about having to "evacuate" anytime while playing. I mean, we eat and drink alot :) Plus you could fill a bottle with your urine and leave it somewhere as a prank ;) -
Having freedom to do what you want in this game feels better imho. I'd rather prefer to have chance to gather equipment and look like an actual medic/surgeon rather than having a medic class and then look like a soldier anyway :)

because i like to give an hand to my friends? :) jokes apart, I think it would add realism to the game.

yes there is already some sort of of wound infection that can be cured using alchol on wounds, even after you bandaged yourself. loosing a limb to horrible infections would be something that occurs in extreme conditions. The main idea was to have those wounds affect a specific area and related behavior of your character, and add interaction with your own body. It would also add to the game an element like scars or lost limbs to make people more recognizable, with veteran telling stories of how they lost their leg in a fight in Berezino with a band of Blood Bandits ;)

With my group we make our own missions, decide daily where to go and what to do. But maybe the devs have something to tell us as well, without this becoming the main force of the game. If you don't care, you just ignore it, like many people I play with, on other games, who completely ignore lore, even in lore driven games.

yes, this is what i meant :)

wouldn't be cool if there was some sort of untold story, though? like... finding clues or books on what happened, why there is a zombie outbreak, where it started, find clues and hints and reach a place where you can find some sort of laboratory or magic evocation circle (necronomicon!) to explain the presence of zombies. So nothing like a forced story, but leave it to the player to decide whether to investigate or not.
